Spring & summer are so special at our newly built modern cabin getaway where you can escape the daily rush, feel your shoulders drop, and put your phone face down. Enjoy the morning mist rising from the pond, hangout in the treehouse, or walk the property and trails to appreciate nature and unplug/unwind. 2 bedrooms - queen beds, 1 & 1/2 bath, full kitchen, large bath, washer/dryer, electric fireplace, firepit Not suitable for kids. Max 3 guests No dogs or pets allowed, due to owners allergies The space Located on our timber farm, on a dirt road, in a small town. We have lots of wildlife: turtles, deer, otter, foxes, all types of birds, and things that crawl. You may see wildlife or only Ava, our gentle farm dog, who LOVES guests -- depends on the season and weather. Quiet and peaceful with walking trails, a dock and pond, treehouse, communal fire pit area, swings and hammocks. Btw, we also live on the farm across the way from the cabin. There is another rental historic log cabin on the property plus 2 RV spaces. Easy to find, easy access, plenty of parking. This are no bistros on our dirt road, lol, but there are 2 coffee shops and a grocery store and restaurants within 6 miles. If you love cozy cabins in a rural place with peace and quiet ...THIS IS the place. Guest access This rental is for an entire cabin with access to walking trails, treehouse, pond, dock, and firepit. Parking is very easy. We use door keys not remote pads. Other things to note As a guest, you must have a 5 star rating to rent this cabin. You must be 22 years old to rent this cabin. Kitchen is stocked with pots. pans, and dishware. Is this the right location and stay for you? We keep the cabin very clean, beautiful, and modernized with comforts. But you might see a bug or a spider web. We try hard to prevent this, yet it happens because the cabin is near a pond and surrounded by forest. We hate to be blunt, but experience has shown that the cabin can only accommodate 3 people. If you want to book for more than 3 people or have day guests, please do not book. Don't book with us, if you want to have visitors while you are a guest. Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the cabin. If smoking or vaping happens in the cabin, a 1$50 dollar fee will be charged. No pets or animals allowed. If a pet is discovered a fee of $150 per pet will be assessed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II & Title III of the ADA. There are no bistros on our dirt road, lol, but there are 2 coffee shops within 6 miles. Claxton has a great grocery store and a few restaurants. We're in a small town yet close to larger towns.
