It is situated on the edge of Birtsmorton and just 8 miles from the Spa town of Malvern, home to many independent retailers including arts and craft shops, galleries, boutiques, and eateries. The space Just 6 miles away, the Three Counties Showground hosts an all-year-round events calendar, from county shows to antique fairs. For walkers, you can take in the natural beauty of the hills, with hiking trails available for all abilities, or you may choose a gentle stroll to the local pub at Birtsmorton (1 mile). Other places of interest include Eastnor Castle (6 miles), andthe Elgar Birthplace Museum, St Annes Well and Great Malvern Priory, which are all within 10 miles. Surrounded by farmland with views across the countryside, the farm’s secluded location puts it off-grid, so power is home generated by solar panels. The lodge adjoins the main farmhouse, with privacy assured. There is separate access to a spacious entrance lobby which is perfect for muddy boots and coats. From here, guests can access the main open-plan living space, with full-length windows and patio doors offering views across the fields. The lounge area has a TV and DVD, two comfortable sofas and two armchairs, while the dining area has a table and chairs, suitable for four guests, should you have any guests for dinner. And the well-equipped kitchen is warmed by a traditional oil-fired Raburn and has everything guests need for preparing meals. When the day is done, the spacious bedroom has a super-king-size bed that can be made up as twin beds if required, and has access to the bathroom. Outside, there is a patio area with a table and chairs suitable for dining, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds. The garden also has 12 different herbs growing, which guests are welcome to use.
