Enjoy a cozy stay at this bright 34m2 studio apartment furnished with design furniture + views overlooking a calm inner yard. The location of the apartment is excellent in the vibrant and trendy Kallio: close to metro, trams & buses, the streets have a wide selection of nice restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bars & different shops. The bedroom nook has 1 doublebed (mattress 140cm) for 2 guests, blackout curtains for good sleeping and a TV with Netflix. Bedlinen + towels + soaps + wifi included. The space The apartment is mainly furnished and decorated with design and vintage furniture and it is located in the 4th floor (flor 4/7). There is an elevator in the building. The entrance in the apartment is semi spacious with a big mirror wall and storage space in the closets. The bahtroom is compact with glass shower wall + glass shower door, bidéshower and storage space in the bathroom furniture. Shower set, tap and bidéshower: Tapwell, matt black. The bedroom nook/alcove is a cosy corner for sleeping, relaxing and TV watching. The TV has Nteflix but you need to connect it to wifi from your phone (no wifi in the apartment). The nook has blackout curtains and a space divider (wooden slabs/bars). The kitchen has all basic kitchen utensils and a dining table for 2-3 persons. No microwave, but the oven and induction stove are super quick heated. Marimekko and Arabia tableware. There is a birch wood parquette in the apartment and wooden countertops in the kitchen. Since wood is a sensitive/easy scratched and stained material, please be extra careful with it during your stay (for example, clean and wipe all possible stains, coffee/wine, grease, water etc. off the surfaces immediately and be careful for not scratching the floor) :) The windows have venetian blinds and two small ventilation windows. There is no laundry machine in the apartment but you can book free of charge the common laundry room in the building (located in the street level/1. floor). The laundry room needs to be pre-booked before using it (reservation book is located in the laundry room). The washing machine and the tumbling machine are modern with different washing programs. Please bring necessary washing liquids with you for your laundry. Guest access In the apartment but also in the inner yard if being mindful and taking other inhabitants in consideration :) Other things to note The apartment is located near the beautiful Tokoinranta and Töölönlahti bay, which are ideal for walks and jogging. There are two small outdoor training points at Töölönlahti bay and also stairs for outdoor stair training. Hakaniemi Market Square is located approx. 300m from the apartment and is an atmospheric place for eating or grocery shopping. A big main grocery shop and "wine shop" (Alko) are also located just 2 min walk from the apartment, as well as a pharmacy. The nearest library is located in the pretty Bear Park (fi: Karhupuisto) and there are also many cozy cafés, nice restaurants and bakeries. Kallio-Hakaniemi region has also a good selection of different kinds of bars and wine bars, also nightclubs. For cultural experiences the architecturally beautiful Helsinki City Theatre is also located close to the apartment. There are also two public wooden heated saunas near the apartment: also architecurally impressive Kulttuurisauna in Hakaniemi (fi: Hakaniemen ranta), with possibility for taking a dip in the ocean. Another sauna is the oldest public sauna in Helsinki, Harjun kotisauna (very old school and authentic sauna experience).
