Welcome to Franklin’s Tower, our home away from home with breathtaking views of Canaan Valley. Located minutes from Dolly Sods, Otter Creek, Timberline, Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley Resort, Whitegrass, and the towns of Thomas and Davis. Whether you like to hike, bike, ski, fish, kayak, or just sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view from the deck, there’s plenty to explore in every season. We love sharing this space with our family and friends and look forward to sharing it with you and yours! The space Note: We purchased this property as an existing Airbnb several years ago. We have made many changes and upgrades to make this a second home for our family and friends to enjoy. We have recently left the management company to manage this property on our own. We are excited to continue this journey with our precious renters as well as developing new experiences with future families. Main Level: Walk into an open floor plan on the Main Level with floor to ceiling windows and plenty of natural light. Enjoy the comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen including many small appliances and an outdoor grill with grill tools on the Main Level deck. In the spring, summer, and fall, the living space spills into the outdoors with comfortable deck seating to take in the views by day and enjoy stargazing at night. During the winter months, cozy up to an evening fire in the fireplace with plenty of indoor space for family gatherings. Cards and board games are provided for family entertainment as well as a Smart-TV for you to access all your favorite streaming services. DVD player and DVD collection are also provided. Lower Level: The Lower Level has driveway access where you’ll find two bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry room. The master bedroom has a walk in closet, king size bed, and beautiful sunrise views. You’ll find a queen bed in the adjacent guest bedroom with the same magnificent sunrise views. There is a full bath on the Lower Level with a shower and Jacuzzi tub and easy access from the outdoor lower deck hot tub area.Take advantage of the laundry room during your multi-day stay which is also located on the Lower Level. Second Floor Loft: Located upstairs from the Main Level, you’ll find a queen bed and futon for extra seating or additional sleeping options. Adjacent to the loft bedroom, the full bath contains a walk-in shower. Enjoy the same beautiful views of Canaan Valley from this space. Tower: Take the spiral staircase to a bonus area with a futon for additional sleeping or a private getaway for the kids to enjoy. 360 degree windows in the Tower provide plenty of natural light and incredible views of the Valley.
