Hike the 30+ acres of woods that boast a creek and waterfall. Relax on the cozy front porch while enjoying the sounds of nature. The Log Cabin is 10 minutes off of I71 exit 22. Less than 3 minutes to Ashbourne Farm & approximately 10 minutes to Hermitage Farm. ***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING The space This authentic log cabin offers 4 queen beds, a sleeping loft with 3 twin beds, equipped kitchen, 2 private baths, laundry room, internet & wireless connection. Located on a beautiful 80 acre horse farm and less than 30 minutes from downtown Louisville. 4 quest or less only have access to the first floor. The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase that is narrow. The cabin is a private home and unless specified by the guest interaction is minimal. ***Please be sure to read "other details to note" section of the listing. Interstate I71 exit 22 & downtown La Grange is less than 10 minutes from StoneLedge. *Please note inquiry’s, request, and confirmed reservations made between 10pm EST and 6:30am will be answered after 6:30am. Guest access As a guest at StoneLedge you will have access to the common grounds on the property. For safety reasons guest are not permitted inside paddocks or barns. There is hiking in the 30+acres of woods with a creek and waterfalls. Other things to note ****READ THIS SECTION**** Please be advised when booking the Cabin the number of guest will determine what is accessible in the Cabin. If want use of the entire cabin you must book for 8 guest. If booking for 4 guests or less you will have access to the main living areas which includes 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Bookings for 5 or more guest will have access to the 2nd floor areas based upon need. The choice for the 2nd floor areas are either the loft with the three twin beds or the second floor with 2 queen beds. ***Notification of additional visitors to the cabin is required. Due to past indiscretions of guest party’s are not allowed **parking in any grass area is prohibited. If a vehicle gets stuck a tow truck will be required to pull it out and it will be the owners expense. **CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUT ON THE PROPERTY** **Pets are permitted with prior approval. Pets must be house broken and have no destructive habits. Pets are NOT allowed on the furniture, including the beds. They must be on a leash at all times when out on the property & please pick up after your pet when walking them. If it is determined pets were allowed on the bedding or sofa an additional dry cleaning charge and/or cleaning charge will be added & billed through Airbnb. **2nd floor staircase has irregular steps and is not to code. It is part of the original cabin. **please do NOT move larger furniture. We have had past guest do so and in doing so the floors have been gouged. **Fireplace in the bedroom is NOT operational. **fireworks and firing of firearms is strictly prohibited **We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control such as power outages, appliances failing, cable outages, etc.. **The indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit may be used with prior approval and if weather conditions permit. Must be notified by 3pm day of use or prior to prepare area. There is a $45 fee for the first fire to use either the fireplace or the fire pit which includes a log starter, firewood and set up and clean up. All subsequent fires are $35. Once fireplace/fire pit has been set up the fee will be charged REGARDLESS OF USE. The indoor fireplace HAS TO BE STARTED by the owner. Due to liability guest are not allowed to build their own fire. This service is billed through Airbnb. If you start a fire anywhere on the farm without permission you will be CHARGED $250. -The cabin has a Weber charcoal grill. Charcoal is not provided. We are happy to provide charcoal and lighter fluid/charcoal chimney for $5 per use.
