Quiet, bright, and spacious private room with brand new private bathroom at a 1910 Victorian house located a quick walk to MacArthur BART station and to many restaurants and cafes, plus easy access to highways. This place is not recommended for guests who are not comfortable around dogs. This is a centrally located house if you are vacationing or working in the Bay Area. Less than 10 minutes walk from BART and Telegraph, where you can find many of Bay Areas' well known restaurantes (D. Tomas, Pizzaiolo, Burma Superstar, Cholitta Linda, Bakeshop Betty, and more). I have a nice garden that you will enjoy spending time at. Guest has access to kitchen, living room , laundry room, and garden. My neighborhood (Longfellow) has had major positives changes in the past few years. Many well known Bay Area restaurants, bars and shopping centers are located walking distance from my house. My favorite place now is wood fire Beauty's Bagel, located around the block. I am couple blocks away from most freeway entrances. Bart station is basically around the corner. Free buses take you to and from the shopping areas around Emeryville, which is part of my neighborhood. Guest will be sharing the house with me and my dog TayTay. Dog is not fully trained and will bark at you at first. She does not bite and eventually will warm up to you. She usually stays in the back of the house where kitchen and my bedroom are located. Dog does not have free access to the front of the house where guest's room and living room are located. However, If you are not comfortable around animals, this is probably not the right place for you. My kitchen is old but has the basic tools and equipment for simple cooking. Kitchen is also the area where the dog often stays (my room is her favorite space) and therefore not as tidy as the rest of the house. The washer and dryer are located in the basement which is 6 feet clearance from floor to roof. This is also the area where I store garden tools, soil, etc., so not as clean as the rest of the house.
