No off-roading is involved, and regular cars can access the property. • Our climate is pleasant and moderate, though not as cold as destinations like Vagamon or Kuttikanam. • As we are surrounded by forest, you may occasionally encounter insects or bugs. We use UV lights and regular pest-control measures to keep them to a minimum. • Our waterfalls are typically active from May to the second week of December, depending on rainfall. • During heavy monsoon periods, occasional power interruptions may occur. Backup power is available, although extended outages may affect it if restoration is delayed. • Meals are simple, fresh, and home-style, prepared daily based on seasonal ingredients and availability. Guest access Experiences at Sunset Valley 🌿 🏞️ Two Private Waterfalls One of the highlights of your stay is exclusive access to our two private waterfalls, nestled deep within the property. After checking into your cottage, follow the signboards along a short forest trail to discover crystal-clear mountain water cascading into a natural infinity pool. Take a refreshing dip, swim in the pristine waters, or simply relax surrounded by nature. The overflowing water from the upper pool forms our second waterfall, which is connected by a flight of steps. This lower waterfall features another natural pool, while the water plunges from a greater height, creating a spectacular sight. Our waterfalls are typically active from May until the second week of December, depending on rainfall. If there is no rain for a few weeks, the water flow gradually reduces. Other things to note Littering is strictly prohibited anywhere within our premises. We kindly request all our guests to help us keep this forest clean by disposing of waste only in the designated bins provided. This is our home, and during your stay, it is yours too. Our daily menu, shared on your arrival, features combo meals with chicken, fish, beef, pork, and vegetarian options.
