Quiet and peaceful, it is set in 1/3rd acre grounds just 120m from the beach, and perfect for a seaside break. Located just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Winchelsea Beach and with stunning panoramic sea views, this property is ideal for families looking for a classic seaside break. Surrounded by glorious countryside, this cottage offers both a rural and seaside escape whereby keen walkers and cyclists can explore the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or Fairlight Country Park which are both on your doorstep. The pretty medieval town of Rye, famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories is just 3 miles away and offers a wealth of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants in which to explore, whilst slightly further afield Hastings Old Town (8 miles) offers plenty of family seaside entertainment. There are many castles, gardens, and National Trust properties to visit in the area including Bodiam Castle (14 miles) and Great Dixter House and Gardens (11miles). There are steps up from the private off road parking area to the front door which opens into a light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner which has been stylishly decorated and offers dual aspect windows that ensure you can enjoy the glorious sea views at any point. The lounge area is cosy and inviting with a large sofa and two armchairs with a smart TV for you to curl up in front of and watch your favourite programmes. For evening meals there is a large dining table with seating for eight where you can enjoy relaxed family meals that have been whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen. There is an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, and a dishwasher. There are three ground-floor bedrooms: two king-size rooms, both offering beautiful sea views and one of which has an en-suite WC, and a triple bunk bedroom which has a smart TV. The property is completed with a shower room that has a walk-in shower and a WC. Outside, a wraparound patio area is a perfect spot to enjoy a summer BBQ (provided on request) or morning coffee. A handy outdoor shower is great for washing off sandy toes after a day at the beach (summer only). There is an extensive 30 square metre decked area with sun loungers overlooking a large, 53m long enclosed shingle "garden". There is private parking for three small cars or two large cars. The house offers a spacious reception, fully equipped kitchen, and dining for eight.
