We invite you to enjoy our special place away from the daily chaos and hustle. A place where you can swim, fish, kayak, build a fire, play endless outdoor games, or do absolutely nothing at all. Do yourself and your family a favor and make some time to slow down and enjoy each other for a couple of days. Leisure on the Leaf #1 is the cabin on the left in the photo. Leisure on the Leaf #2 is the cabin on the right and is listed separately. The space This is one of two sister cabins that can be rented individually or together. They share a central open deck and staircase but otherwise have separate living spaces up top and hang out spaces underneath. There is plenty of grassy space for enjoying cornhole or other outdoor games. Highly recommend winding down with an evening fire using our firepit and firewood provided. There is running water access below each cabin that we would encourage guests to use to wash off before going in the cabins. Please note that this cabin has a smaller kitchen setup: gas cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, medium size fridge/freezer, countertop Ninja oven/air fryer. Guest access Washer and Dryer available for extended stays (on site but not in unit) Other things to note These cabins are located about 40min from Laurel via Hwy 15 , 30 min from Hattiesburg via Hwy 98, and about 20 from Petal. Shopping, restaurants, and other activities at each destination. The annual MS pecan festival and Fulmer's Farmstead (open year around for shopping and dining) is roughly about a mile from the cabin. We do have kayaks available upon request that can be delivered before your stay. There is a public boat ramp at the entrance to Georgia Pacific Leaf River Cellulose plant on Highway 29 that will put you approximately 5 miles up river. A perfect half day kayaking trip with many beautiful sandbars to enjoy along the way. We can arrange for pick up and drop off for an additional fee. We have smart TVs in the cabin that guest can log into their personal netflix, hulu, youtube tv, etc accounts and enjoy during their stay. Please don't forget to log out before you leave.
