The location is optimal, you can reach the town center and the train station on foot, the distance from the sea is about 200 meters with large free beaches of golden sand and private beaches. During your stay you can explore and discover the beauty of the Cilento coast which has been awarded the Blue Flag for many years. One of the points of greatest attraction is the cliff, namely Punta del Telegrafo where the very long beach of Ascea begins which reaches the port of Casalvelino Marina passing through the territory of Velia. Baia d'Argento is among the most beautiful on the coast. And if you love walking, you can also enjoy it from above thanks to the trekking route called "the lovers' path": training and breathtaking views are guaranteed. The famous Paestum can be reached in just over half an hour; Velia, however, can also be reached on foot. Velia, famous for the Eleatic philosophical school and for the Porta Rosa, among the first examples of a round arch, is a site with an interesting route, which leads to the acropolis overlooking the gulf. Unmissable in Paestum are the temples and the magnificent National Museum. From Ascea you can easily move around to visit some truly evocative coastal villages, such as Acciaroli or Pioppi which houses the Museum of the Mediterranean Diet. Also not to be missed are Pisciotta, Palinuro and Marina di Camerota, the latter famous for its white beaches. It is possible to embark from the port of Casal Velino, five minutes from Ascea to discover the coast towards Punta Licosa or towards Palinuro-Marina di Camerota, to visit the Blue Grotto and the Infreschi Bay. From the Ascea cliff, however, you can easily reach the coves of Baia della Rondinella.
