Cozy & Curated Shenandoah Cabin
Relax, reconnect, and set a reminder to leave the city more often. Shenandoah Cabin is a family- and pet-friendly retreat less than two hours from Washington, D.C. — and an entire world away. With thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces on more than three acres of woodland, you’ll want to return again and again to this cozy and curated mountain getaway. The space You're going to love Shenandoah Cabin — and it'll love you back. Twinkling string lights lead the way to a fire pit built for four, and two porches (one screened!) are yours for lounging, dining, and relaxing during your time away. With westward, woodland views, golden hour is one of the best parts of the day. The indoor fireplace is cozy and easy to use. The shelves are stocked with a library of books, and there's a trunk full of games and puzzles with all age groups in mind. The kitchen is one you'll actually want to cook in (and curated to avoid that classic rental house issue of one large lid for seventeen scratched pans). The living and dining areas offer a cushy Chesterfield and a breakfast nook for four. NEW! Fiber-optic Wi-Fi makes working from cabin way better than working from home. Want more peeks at the cabin? Follow along on IG @shenandoahcabin :) Other things to note The cabin is a quick jaunt to two Shenandoah National Park entrances, with endless weekend Farmers Markets, vineyards and breweries, and small-town charm within a quick drive. Before check-in, we'll share access to our favorite local recommendations and itineraries — just for guests :) The cabin has lightning-fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi and perfect cell service. Any vehicle will be able to get up the mile-long gravel mountain road, but take extra care with cars that are very low to the ground. Please note that the speed limit in our community is 15 mph, as the road is narrow at times. If snow is predicted, 4WD is recommended. The road may not be plowed unless there is heavy (4"+) snow. We get our share of wildlife and other woodland creatures on property — this is very much a cabin, and modern-rustic is the vibe. We are on a well, so water pressure will fluctuate. There's not a television or a microwave, but you won't miss them. There *is* central A/C and heat, a supply of firewood, and a feeling of seclusion from neighboring cabins. It’s the best of all worlds: an amazing Shenandoah Valley location, the feeling that you're getting away completely, and an aesthetic you'll want to take home with you.
