Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view. The space The cabin was recently refurbished, everything is new with some vintage accents and accessories. Comfortable beds and couches. The occasional spider might be encountered along with its masterful creations ( webs) no matter my meticulous cleaning they just find a way to be part of the action :) Please be kind and don’t assume the cabin isn’t clean because of it. Remember WE are the guests in this beautiful forest Guest access Entire cabin Other things to note The dirt road to the cabin requires 4x4 if raining. When snow is above 2 inches chains are required to drive to the cabin . If not the parking will be at the top of the road., about 250 feet walk. I will give parking details if and when needed.
