Play the Highlands Links GOLF course, enjoy the many hikes and beaches right here in Ingonish Beach The space Our beach house is located at 32 Snitzel Lane on the famous Cabot Trail in Ingonish Beach, a fishing village in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The view from the spacious deck over- looking Ingonish Harbour, is breath-taking. At night, enjoy the romantic moon, glistening on the water. The house is AIR CONDITIONED and is a fully equipped spacious, one level, 2 bedroom house WASHER AND DRYER, 2 12 INCH MEMORY FOAM MATTRESSES (queen size and double), a queen sofa sleeper and a NEW SPA-LIKE BATHROOM. There is a new BBQ, and table & chairs on the deck to take in the view! Enjoy the convenience of the liquor store Scotiabank, the post office, the variety store, Home Hardware, gas station and the Main Street restaurant (Ingonish Beach), which specializes in fresh seafood! All right in the village and walking distance! Enjoy the Bitsy Bean cafe, Periwinkle cafe and Coastal Waters restaurant in Ingonish, the Arduane restaurant and bar with local entertainment in Ingonish Beach up the Keltic Road. The main lodge is presently closed. Don’t forget to take the kids to the groovy goat farm while you enjoy lunch on their new upper deck. Whether youre combing Ingonish Beach or North Bay Beach beach for sea treasures; Partake in The Cape Breton Highlands national park’s interpretive programs; guided walks or Geo catching. Go hiking or Kayaking while enjoying this spectacular scenery, you will surely encounter moose (do not attempt to approach!) and other wildlife living in the Cape Breton Highlands, where the Eagles soar high. Experience Cape Breton hospitality in Ingonish Beach. There is a fire stick on the TV and I have downloaded all the apps for your watching pleasure. There is Netflix, Prime Video, and many other apps and options. NO campfires due to insurance restrictions Guest access This Beach House is equipped with laundry facilities, both Washer and dryer,hair dryer, baby gate, playpen, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (queensize and a double bed), a pull out couch for a fifth guest and 2 cozy Primary guest robes. A large livingroom with Netflix, prime video and wifi. The Wi-Fi is on the modem that is on top of the desk in the kitchen. There is a full sized deck overlooking the water in Ingonish Harbour. Enjoy the picturesque view from the inside through the large windows in both the living room and kitchen an outside. There’s a brand new barbeque and propane fire table. Directions for the table are above. There are two yoga mats to enjoy meditating on the deck or lifting the water For your convenience, I provide tea, and coffee, The kitchen is fully equipped with a brand new stove And Keurig coffee maker the key will be in the lock box on the front door For your check-in convenience. When you check out, simply just put the key back in the door lock and make sure the propane tanks are off ONE Dog allowed Other things to note WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S Beach House is not easy to find so please use your Google maps. It over-looks Ingonish Harbour and is located at the entrance of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. there is a new barbeque on the patio and also a new propane fire table with heat. Lovely for happy hour.! At the Ingonish Beach, one can play tennis at the newly renovated courts, play soccer on the soccer field, build sand castles, swim in the salt and rinse off in the Fresh water lake which is separated from the ocean by a "Natural cobble stone. There will be a Canada Day celebration in a community and on those dates, I have forwarded the information to the guest who have booked these dates. The "International Celtic Colours Festival" is October this fall. There are many guided hikes, or you could venture out with a "buddy", and take in the beauty of the many hiking trails cut out by the National Park in the Cape Breton Highlands. Visit the Park’s information centre in Ingonish Beach for more information on hiking and trails. You can message me in ask also. There are strict restrictions. Fire ban is frequent so no campfires at these times. ADHERE TO FIRE BANS! There will be NO campfires this season due to the increasing potential for wildfires. On the deck is a new propane table. *Directions: turn the propane tank on, then push the large knob in and turn it to high position and hold finger on small igniter button until flames light then adjust the flame height 1 dog is permitted as long as you submit the $55 pet fee, clean up after the animal and make sure there’s no pet hair on the furniture. If there’s a lot of dog here, please vacuum and also pick up any of the dogs excrements Lobster season begins the 2nd week of May - July 15/19. The crab season is 2 weeks before or after lobster. The restaurants such as "Main Street," (5 Star) located a stones-throw from the beach house offering the catch of the day. Main Street also has a brand new takeout that is open till 11:00 PM "Coastal Waters" (as seen on the TV show, you've got to eat here) in Ingonish typically opens the Friday of Mothers Day weekend in May and provides six days a week. There are many other restaurants such as "the Arduane," which also offers live entertainment in the attached Breton Room From 5:00-11:00 pm which is located in Ingonish Beach on the property of the keltic Lodge. There For a more informal dining experience, "The Seagull Restaurant" in Ingonish offers a delicious menu and has an outdoor deck where you may choose to sit, overlooking the bay. It is very child friendly! You can also enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony of the golf clubhouse, which serves beautiful lunches. There are food trucks, both in North Bay. The Ingonish Beach it’s beautiful, but there is a strong undertow. At the north Bay Beach just further down the road. It’s a long beach and full of sand and two lifeguards. The Zodiac, Keltic Express docked at the Ingonish warf, opens Mother’s Day, it offers an exciting whale watch. See sea life from a marine perspective! There is also a Whale Watch below the Airbnb. See pamphlets in the desk. Golf the mountaineous 18 holes at the famous Cape Breton Highlands Links, which was rated in the best 100 golf courses in the world! Ingonish Beach provides a unique experiences, From dining to building sand castles on the lifeguarded Ingonish Beach, frolicking in the summer sun, enjoying the surf, hiking, whale watching, kayaking, (rentals available at Ingonish Beach), sight seeing, enjoy the Celtic Colors in the fall.
