Welcome to Laagan 2 🌴 The perfect place to slow down and enjoy the true island vibe after a day of surfing, island hopping, or exploring Siargao, right in the heart of General Luna, just a street away from shops & restaurants, in a quiet residential area. Experience true Island life with all the comforts: queen bed, mezzanine with convertible sofa, private semi-outdoor bathroom with hot shower, electric fans and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with chill area. The space Designed with local materials and inspired by traditional island architecture, this house offers an authentic island living experience. Naturally ventilated with open spaces, it has no air conditioning, only electric fans. You’ll enjoy a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed with plenty of storage, a small mezzanine upstairs with a sofa that converts into one or two single beds, a private semi-outdoor bathroom with hot shower, fibre Wi-Fi and a large terrace with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and chill-out areas, the perfect place to relax after a day of surfing or exploring the island. Living close to nature also means sharing the space with it : mosquitoes, bugs, and occasional geckos are part of island life. Mosquito nets are provided on all beds and windows and doors are screened to limit them, but you will still encounter some. As part of the island life, you may also hear roosters, dogs or scooters and occasionally daytime construction noise as part of Siargao’s growth. This is not a party area but neighbours might occasionally hold karaoke, a joyful part of Filipino culture. Power outages can happen (we do not have generator) and during heavy rain the filtered well water may briefly have a natural sulfur smell, it usually clears after running the tap for a few seconds. This home is for true island lovers : If you’re looking for Western-style comfort or a perfectly sanitized condo, this may not be for you. But if you appreciate real island life, its sounds, quirks and rustic charm, you’ll feel right at home here. A place for those who truly love the island 🌴❤️ Guest access We are Located just behind the busy tourisme road, in a residential area, right in the center of General Luna. You will have an easy access to all shops, restaurants and night life while its only a 5 min walk to the beach too. The last couple of meters of the road are still under construction, and during the rainy season, be aware that it could be muddy. Other things to note Charly, the co host, is the manager of the house while I’m not on the island. He will help you if you have any concerns or questions.
