Entire Gite, Hidden Gem, Ceauce, Orne

A great place to stay in this comfortable, spacious and unique rural setting. Local shops are a five minute drive down the country lane, offering a boulangerie, chemist, charcuterie, small grocery shop, post office, bar and bistro. Driving further afield you can experience, French markets, swimming indoors and out, fishing, cycling golf and beautiful country walks with an abundance of flora and fauna along the way. We can suggest some wonderful places to visit and an array of lovely eateries. The space Hidden Gem will provide you with a bathroom with a shower over the bath, a sink, toilet and towels included. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS A SET OF SEVEN STEPS FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE BATHROOM. FOR YOUR SAFETY PUT THE LIGHT ON DURING THE NIGHT. There’s is a very comfortable king sized bed, an area for hanging clothes, 2 chests of drawers and bedside tables with lighting. Bed linen is provided. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, kettle, microwave, toaster and washing machine. There is a TV in the lounge providing French and English viewing. In the garden to the back of the gite you can enjoy the views across our ancient orchard, eat your meals outside and take in the peaceful atmosphere. Please note this is a self catering gite. If you arrive on a Sunday there will be very little opportunity for food shopping. Feel free to pack some essentials. Guest access As you arrive at Le Tertre you will drive straight into the parking area where there are several spaces to park. We hope to be able to greet you in your arrival. Other things to note We are located rurally and enjoy nature’s surroundings, giving you time to relax and unwind from the day to day pressures of life. However if you prefer to spend your days out and about there are Gardens, Chateaux, places of historical interest within a 30 minute drive and beautiful walks. But of course there is much more to see if you wish to go further afield. The train station in Laval is a 45 minute drive and will take you for a romantic day out in Paris. If you love to paint, you will certainly find inspiration here. If we are not at home on your departure day, please lock up and leave your key in our post box which is situated on the left hand wooden post as you drive out of the car park.
