It overlooks the picturesque Ffynnon Ddewi valley, and its position is ideal for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists. Cwm Tydu beach is two miles away, where one can join the stunning Ceredigion coastal path. The cottage is just four miles from the old port of New Quay, with a sandy beach and opportunities for dolphin watching. It also offers numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs. Take a stroll down to the harbour or enjoy many of the beachfront shops. There is plenty to do. Llangrannog is just 15 minutes to the south with a beautiful sandy beach, lovely cafes and excellent pubs. Try a spot of surfing or kayaking here, or enjoy fish and chips on the seafront. A bit further afield are the Georgian town of Aberaeron with its picturesque harbour and honey ice-creams, the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron and the great medieval abbey site of Strata Florida. Tanyfron is central to many other places of interest in the Cardigan Bay area. An ideal base!
