The space We offer two unique cabins to accommodate groups of different sizes, while a third “Hobbit Cabin” is used solely for wood storage to keep our guests well-supplied with firewood. 1. Ladybug Cabin: This spacious cabin features four bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. It can sleep up to 11 guests, including an optional air mattress on the top floor and a sofa that can accommodate one more person if needed. It’s ideal for larger groups or families wanting to enjoy a cozy stay in nature. 2. Hobbit Cabin (Wood Storage Only): This charming, small cabin is used to store our annual supply of firewood. Upon your arrival, we’ll provide two large bags of firewood. If you need extra, additional wood is available for purchase to ensure you stay warm and cozy throughout your stay 3. Lavin Cabin: If your group exceeds 11 people, this additional cabin is available and sleeps up to 4 guests. It has two floors: the ground floor includes a full bathroom, living room, and kitchen, while the upper floor has sleeping accommodations with one double and two single floor beds. Bugs Being in the woods means there is a chance for bugs in and outside the property. However, an exterminator routinely treats the area around the house to reduce the chance of guests meeting unwelcome guests. Children The house is child friendly, but not child proofed. Please watch your kids! Trash Keep all trash inside the house to avoid unexpected encounters with wild animals, like foxes etc. Weather Check the weather before you go so that if you do get snowed in, you are covered with the necessities. Heating The fireplace and wood stove is the most effective way to heat when temps drop below freezing, but supplemental heating sources include a air conditioner, plug-in electric heaters and electric blankets.
