The cottage, a whitewashed converted stable block with beamed ceilings, is in a rural setting with footpaths and bridleways around it. Many birds and wildlife frequent our tranquil valley, with a badgers sett in our woods and buzzards often circling overhead. Lying just outside Llanelli in rural Carmarthenshire, in a quiet valley next to a smallholding, Trepartridge is 2 miles from the town centre with its shops, restaurants and nightlife. Trepartridge Cottage is ideally located near some of the top tourist attractions in Wales. A short hop away is Pembrey Country Park with its miniature railway, restaurant, dry ski slope and other outdoor pursuits, and Cefn Sidan Blue Flag beach. The beautiful Gower peninsula has water sports and climbing, while historic Carmarthen with its market and museums is nearby. Other places to explore include the National Showcaves Centre, National Botanic Gardens, Dolaucothi Goldmines, the Pendine Museum of Speed and the castles at Oxwich, Weobley, Dryslwyn, Llansteffan, Carreg Cennen and Kidwelly.
