A private entrance into the basement area, accessible from upstairs as well, has a large games room - shuffle board, checkers, chess and lots of board games. Outside is a seating area by the firepit, roast marshmallows, cook hotdogs or just listen to the wind in the trees and watch the stars. Love this home as if it were your own. Get back to nature and let that love encompass you, if only for a short time. A welcome package, with all info about the house will be provided. Extra bedding is available. Nearby amenities include Sobeys, bowling alley, hospital, Rails for Trails, drug store, Hardware stores, and Sunday market. Info on local businesses and attractions will be in the welcome package. Porter's Lake is 15 minutes away, a few beaches, Dartmouth and Halifax are within 45 minutes. Smart devices are located throughout the house and used for control of various lights. These can be disabled if the guest so requires. Guest access Full property access but the garage and shed will not be accessible. Other things to note The house is protected by an auto start generator in case of power failure. Drinking water is from a well, filtered and tested as safe to drink. Black-out curtains are available in all bedrooms. Small dogs may be allowed to stay. Please negotiate with owner. The home is professionally cleaned prior to each guest’s arrival.
