Natutarian Farmstay, a peaceful farm, is set up in Karjat, 50 miles from Mumbai, next to natural forest, with misty mornings, beautiful sunrise/sunset with view of hills. Away from city noises, the space spans 4 acres of nature , kitchen garden, lawns, café, ponds, Machan, amphitheatre etc. We are MTDC certified for unique experiences. This bamboo cottage has a private dedicated full western bathroom within cottage attached to it. Note: No alcohol, No Smoking, Vegan / Veg food and No AC. The space This is not a typical resort / hotel or airbnb like in a city, its a natural place and our home in 4 acres lush green farmstead, personally designed and developed for unique peaceful experience, which shall suit like minded nature loving guests. Being a permaculture farm in nature, we abide by nature’s rules, which takes care of the whole ecosystem of plants, animals & humans. For this reason, we offer plant-based food (pure vegetarian in real sense) at additional charges, & do NOT allow alcohol, cigarettes, drugs etc), to maintain the sanctity of the natural ecology. The food is provided by caretaker primarily with extra charges, if owners are available then they may prepare a special lunch meal with additional cost. A SAFE NATURAL STAY EXPERIENCE– Natutarian Farm offers a safe & comfortable natural environment, with robust metal structure 12 feet high fencing across the farm, CCTV security cameras & day caretaker ( 8:30 AM to 5 PM) & night watchman ( 8:30 PM to 6 AM) guarding the place, offering the best of comfort & natural habitat! OUTDOOR KITCHEN - Guests staying the room have access to all open areas of the farm including the outdoor kitchen , which is marked with beautiful outdoorsy views, rustic bamboo interiors, & natural décor. The kitchen has both modern & traditional cooking arrangements. OPEN SPACES - Guests can spend time walking & soaking in natural environment in the food forest, vegetable gardens, ponds, Machan, lawns & workshop area. NEIGHBOURHOOD - Guests can take a village tour to soak in natural view of rivers, water streams, rice paddy fields & greenery. Other things to note The farm is located about 15 Kms from Karjat Railway Station, in a serene setting, away from city noises. Autos / Taxis are easily available from Karjat Station/ Town, which is a 30-minute drive. Autos / Taxis can also be arranged for going out of the farm, on prior notice, as needed.
