On a quiet private road, this self-contained annexe to Ty Gwyn is perfect for a quiet getaway. Ideal for guests with limited mobility, the studio is fully wheelchair accessible. It is only a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from Swn Y Mor to the lovely Georgian town of Aberaeron, where you will find a large variety of shops, a supermarket, post office, delicatessens and ice-cream parlours. There are pubs, cafés, restaurants, and takeaways to suit all tastes, as well as a picturesque fishing harbour. The National Trust estate of Llanerchaeron is a popular attraction nearby, and the University town of Aberystwyth, with its promenade, harbour, cliff railway and the National Library of Wales, is half an hour away. The seaside town of New Quay, just 20 minutes away, offers dolphin spotting boat trips and water sports. The Aeron Valley and the Ceredigion Heritage Coast offer beautiful scenic drives. ACCOMMODATION Swn y Mor sleeps 2 in 1 super king-size bed. It is fully wheelchair accessible and ideal for guests with limited mobility. Bedroom area: super king-size bed (can be made up as a twin on request) Easy access wet room: shower, toilet, hand basin, handrails, heated towel rail, removable shower seat Kitchen/dining area: electric hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dining table and chairs for 4 Sitting area: 2 armchairs, Smart TV, DVD player, large bi-folding glazed doors for great access OUTSIDE There is a wooden front deck area with patio furniture and a separate deck to the side of the property with a dining table and chairs. Both decks are wheelchair accessible. Conservatory: two 2-seater cane sofas, 2 cane armchairs, dining table seating 4, piano, telescope, sea views, shared with guests from Seabreeze. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available to use on-site. Private off-road parking for two cars. KEY FACTS -Bed linen and towels provided. The suite is fully accessible for wheelchairs. Pre-arrival -Good bus services to Aberaeron (local town approx. 1 mile away). There is a regular train service to Aberystwyth(16 miles away). -Accessibility should be checked with individual services. There is a bus stop 750 yards from Ty Gwyn. -We are able to arrange collection from main line rail/bus stops and accessible taxis are available -The suite is Self-Catering -Evacuation procedures explained upon arrival -Assistance dogs accepted -In accordance with legislation smoking is only permitted outside the suite on the decked area -Mobile phone signal with most providers is usually available Arrival and car parking -Accessible parking and drop off area is 5 metres from the entrance to the suite. -Assistance with luggage is also available.
