Surrounded by fields and meadows, the stately, historic building from 1869 rises in the middle of a 16,000 m², 1.2 m high fenced park with a wide panoramic view of the countryside. Absolute tranquility, plenty of space and the thatched stable, which attracts curious glances The space – here you can enjoy exclusivity and privacy. The space On about 400 m² of living space, the Forsthof can accommodate up to 10 guests and 3 dogs. Each of the six bedrooms is a retreat with its own elegant en-suite bathroom – hotel comfort in a private atmosphere. The current owners have renovated the property with a lot of love for detail and combined historical flair with modern luxury. The Park The spacious private park with old trees, romantic retreats and endless views of the countryside invites you to linger, play or read. Walks and hikes across fields and through forests start right outside the door – with a bit of luck in the company of sturgeons, cranes, deer, hares or foxes. Design & atmosphere The interior design is clear, bright and reduced, characterized by high-quality materials, selected design brands and fine color accents. This makes the Forsthof a stylish meeting place for families, friends and small groups – and dogs are also welcome. Location Nestled in the idyllic lake landscape of West Mecklenburg, not far from the state capital Schwerin, the Forsthof is a perfect starting point. In addition to the tranquility of nature, charming small towns, picturesque villages and old churches, castles and palaces attract visitors. A maximum of 3 dogs are allowed in this house. Please specify the number in your booking. The holiday property may only be occupied in the previously agreed number of people (including babies and infants). It must be agreed with the agency if additional people are in the cottage during the day. The minimum rental period is always 3 nights for all people.  The minimum rental period also applies to persons who are only temporarily guests in the property. A reduction in the number of persons after the conclusion of the contract does not lead to a change in the rental price. The entrance to the cottage is via a key safe. The pin will be communicated by email 3 days prior to your arrival. Arrival is possible from 4 pm. Please leave by 10 am. Depending on the booking situation, you can ask for a late check-out. Use as a party location is not allowed. In the sense of the good neighborhood, a quiet night is to be held between 10 pm and 8 am. Smoking is not allowed in the house. Pets: may only be brought in agreement with the rental agency and for a fee, in the number previously specified. Out of consideration for subsequent guests, dogs are not allowed in bed, on the sofa or on the armchair. The dog droppings in the garden and around the vacation property must be collected. We ask that you vacuum before your departure to remove the animal hair (swept clean). For technical reasons, it is not allowed to charge electric cars via the power supply of the holiday property. This is not designed for this and may result in fires. For each subsequent contract change we charge €30 processing fee We reserve the right to charge a deposit of €1500 for a rental to commercial customers. This will be refunded within 14 days in case of complaint-free departure. If you use the house commercially, you would have to indicate this with us.
