The Nest is a petit guesthouse inside The Sumapaz Refuge. We are an organic 17 acre farm at the outskirts of the town of San Jose de Minas. Ours is an environmentally progressive project that seeks to offer our visitors a place to reconnect with themselves and nature in a wholesome way. The Nest is strategically located inside a nature refuge, which offers stunning views, an organic fruit and vegetable garden to pick from, and beautiful hikes around the property. The region also offers spectacular nature trails and cultural journeys for the adventurous traveler. We are available at all times via WhatsApp to help visitors troubleshoot any issue that may come up. We are located 5 minutes by car to the town of San Jose de Minas and 45 minutes to Otavalo. The Quito Airport is an hour and a half away from the house. Guest can come by car, public transportation or by hiring a private driver that will charge $40 from the airport to the farm.
