The property is inside Podere La Casella, an ancient farmhouse nestled in the Tuscan countryside, on a hill that dominates the Mugello valleys, a short walk from the Apennines. The room "Il Romaiolo" has everything you need to spend a serene vacation feeling a little in your own home: in addition to the sleeping area with an exclusive bathroom there is in fact a small kitchen equipped with all the essentials to heat the meal or prepare and consume a good typical Tuscan meal! The space The Podere La Casella, inside which the accommodation is located, has 6 rooms in total, each with exclusive services. The offer is completed by some common areas inside and outside the home, freely available to our guests. Each room retains its own personality and peasant flavor, in an atmosphere that leads back to the rural life of old Mugello, when the farmhouse was the home of large families who shared the spaces, both during the workday and in private life. Even today, the Podere La Casella recognizes the old layout of the premises, with their sober furnishings and ancient work tools, elements that then marked the Mugellian day, just as today they accompany our guests in a really exciting experience in a simple and welcoming environment. PARKING You can leave your car in our owned parking lot, adjacent to the house, comfortable and safe, shared with other guests. The entrance upon your arrival you will be welcomed by me or my collaborators, and you will be shown your place and all the spaces you will share with the other guests. Along with the access badge, you will receive some instructions that will be convenient for you during your stay at our farm. The ROOM The room "Il Romaiolo" is in fact a mini apartment. Arranged on the first floor of the building, it is spacious and bright, furnished in a simple way, with a view of the beautiful valleys of the Mugellian countryside and the first Apennine slopes. The darkening of the windows, equipped with curtains that guarantee the right level of privacy, is through dark at the door, present on the outside. The spacious dresser and the large wall-mounted closet provide enough space for long stays. The property has a state-of-the-art 32-inch TV and unlimited free and consumable internet connection, great for work calls and smart working. Recently renovated (like the rest of the rooms), it is for exclusive use and communicating with the bedroom, suitable for making your stay even more comfortable. It has a window overlooking the garden and countryside, and consists of a large shower (much appreciated for its excellent accessibility), a sink with a mirror, a toilet, a bidet and a wall-mounted hairdryer. Bath products are also included. Breakfast room In the large breakfast room, which you will find on the ground floor, you will enjoy a great breakfast that will make you start the day in the best way, enjoying the spectacular view of the valley. LETTURA-RELAX ROOM We have a little special space for our guests. This is the fireplace room. Formerly part of the entrance loggia to the farmhouse, it retains the original characters of an ancient era. Here the weather slows down and you can enjoy a relaxing moment in every season accompanied by a good drink, perhaps reading a good book or just enjoying the view of the valley that the large glass window offers. Giardino The house is surrounded by one hectare of land and garden for the rest is cultivated with olive groves and partly still left in the woods. On good days and especially in summer the view it offers is very suggestive, at any time of day or night.
