Welcome to this family-friendly mountain cabin with beautiful views towards Krøderen, perfectly located for skiing, cross-country skiing and relaxing days in the mountains. The cabin accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, making it ideal for families, two families travelling together or a group of friends. In winter, the location has easy access to both the alpine slopes and cross-country trails. Come home to the warmth of the fireplace, enjoy dinner and relax while taking in the views. The space The cabin The main floor has a bright and comfortable open-plan living and kitchen area with a fireplace, sofa and armchairs. The dining table seats 8 guests and the kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. There is underfloor heating on the main floor, making the cabin warm and comfortable even during the coldest winter days. Upstairs you will find an additional lounge with TV – a great separate space for children or teenagers. Sleeping arrangements The cabin has four separate bedrooms: Bedroom 1: double bed, 180 × 200 cm Bedroom 2: family bunk bed Bedroom 3: double bed, 160 × 200 cm, which can also be separated Bedroom 4: two single beds that can be placed together The cabin is also well suited to families with young children, with a high chair, bed rails and stair gates available. Bathroom There is one complete bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin and combined washing machine/dryer. There is also a separate WC with washbasin – particularly convenient when staying with a larger group. Skiing and Norefjell One of the cabin's greatest advantages is its location. The ski area is close by and cross-country trails are right outside the cabin, giving you excellent access to everything Norefjell has to offer. After skiing, return to the cabin, light the fireplace and enjoy the views across the valley. Not just a winter destination Norefjell is also beautiful during spring, summer and autumn. The area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, fishing and exploring the mountains. Or simply spend a quiet day at the cabin and enjoy the terrace. Outside you will find a terrace with outdoor furniture and an Espegard fire pit, perfect for long evenings together. Bed linen and towels can be brought from home or rented for NOK 250 per set. Guest access Guests can use the entire cabin except the shed. Other things to note In winter: Norefjell ski center: Alpine and cross-country trails of various degrees of difficulty, as well as a snowboard park and children's area. Spa and wellness: At Norefjell Ski & Spa, guests can relax and enjoy various spa treatments, sauna and pool. Dog sledding: Guided dog sledding tours are offered at Langedrag Nature Park. Sledding and snow play: There are several areas around Norefjell that are well suited for sledding and snow play for both adults and children. Ice fishing: Guests can try their luck at ice fishing on one of the many lakes in the area. Winter cycling: There are several prepared winter paths for cycling in the area. Cultural experiences: Guests can visit Nore Stave Church, a beautiful stave church from the Middle Ages. Shopping and places to eat: There are several shops, restaurants and cafes in nearby towns such as Noresund and Hønefoss. In the summer, this holiday home is a good starting point for activities such as: Tours: Noresund is surrounded by beautiful nature and there are many walking and hiking trails in the area. Here you can enjoy fantastic views and explore the peaceful surroundings. Swimming, SUP, canoeing and kayaking: For the adventurous guests, it is possible to go canoeing or kayaking in the area. Good to know: There is a NOK 75 toll on the road from Noresund to Norefjell. You normally only need to use this road when arriving. Skiing from Skistua and shopping at the 24/7 Joker Norefjell can be reached from the cabin without passing the toll gate again.
