Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin in the Eco Aldea Kinich Ahau, in the jungle near Xpujil, Campeche with several Mayan archaeological sites nearby. Board games and a kitchen inside, a campfire and nearby "Sendero del Mono" (Monkey Trail) outside. From the second floor balcony you can see the top of the pyramid of Xpujil during the day and multitudes of stars at night. The space We hope you will take this time to connect with nature, make a coffee and listen to the birds while playing cards and planning the days' adventures. There are many Mayan ruins to explore (El Hormiguero is our favorite). Some walking trails exist around the property (you will see monkeys if you are lucky), and others are in development. Our kids planted some of the trees! The cabin is an A-frame and the upstairs is a loft with a queen and matrimonial bed. The balcony overlooks the treetops. There is a restaurant onsite. Guest access The whole cabin is yours to enjoy. The eco-village overall (Eco Aldea Kinich Ahau) has 3 other cabins and properties developed. Other things to note The eco-village of Kinich Ahau is in development. There is always someone on site, and check in/out is at Restaurante Ixchel at the entrance to the property/ecoaldea. We are minutes away from the village of Xpujil, and can help arrange tours to the archaeological site of Calakmul if desired.
