You will enjoy taking a 5-minute stroll east to the beach and surf./ catch the GLink electric rail sth to Pacific Fair and shop till you drop, nth to GC Uni Hospital; join Helensvale train link to Brisbane, etc. Stroll 5 mins s/w to boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops/ bars, and food outlets. Explore art/nightlife at HOTA ARTS Precinct via Green Bridge; swim free in the natural pool & more. The space The rented room is upstairsat the end n a complex of 6x 2-bedroom units. It has an upstairs shower and toilet on a shared basis with your female host. All the unit's windows are barred; the front door is double locked and also security screened; The back door allows access to the courtyard; also barred - its outside gate entrance is permanently locked (is not used for gaining entrance to the unit). Single rented bedroom at the back of the unit includes aircon, microwave, toaster, daily: 2x fresh slices bread & dry noodles; kettle; coffee/tea. Kitchen, Fridge, Laundry: There is no access to the kitchen or Laundry. A space is reserved in the host's fridge mainly for wine. The downstairs living space is limited and therefore reserved strictly for the host other than accessing the small courtyard out back for guests smoking cigarettes, vapes etc., or access to gas BBQ. (Guest is asked to pls clean after use in laundry tub; cleaning products and implements provided by host). The laundromat and fast food outlets are within walking distance. A high-rise resort is going up next door but happily, the daytime building noise is minimal or often none. Guest access Parking is available in the front driveway of the unit for guests' small car, motorbike, etc. Access is via the front door which then leads immediately to 14 stairs to carry own luggage up to the guest bedroom and shower/ toilet. Other things to note Special info - Other than running her BNB, host works daily online as a university student researching and thesis-writing, as well as a life coach/ Enneagram practitioner. There is an abundance of eating spots near the unit and guests are expected to lead their own lives, socialising and eating out.
