The Cévennes National Natural Park consists of mountains that are part of the Massif Central, ideal for hiking. Our Mazet is a 5-minute walk to downtown Alès. Alès city on the edge of exceptional landscapes such as: - the National Park, territory of culture and people (Gard, Lozère, Hérault, Aveyron and Ardèche). - The Mine Witness, a unique work of art in France. - Fort Vauban, the city's iconic monument, Fort Vauban is a witness to Cévennes history... The Mazet has a terrace to enjoy fresh air from the moment you wake up. Coffee with the first rays of sunshine and birds. The kitchen open to the living room is fully equipped to allow you to concoct all the delicious flavors of our beautiful region and to enjoy real moments of friendly relaxation with family or friends. I remain available to welcome you and help you discover my region that I love so much. Guest access Quiet hours and respect for the neighborhood are recommended. We would appreciate it if you could reduce noise at night between 10pm and 8am so as not to disturb the neighborhood. Parties and events in the rental: We can't allow parties, events, and large gatherings in our furnished tourist accommodation. Commercial filming and other professional uses are strictly prohibited on the property. Use the premises and respect the equipment: The tenant must respect the premises for the duration of the stay. Kitchen utensils, spices, oil and cleaning products are at your disposal during your stay. You can't move furniture. You will have a welcome booklet in French and English, and a tourist guide. The wifi password will allow you to have an internet connection. This is confidential. Please don't share it with anyone outside. General safety guidelines: As hosts, we will not be held liable for theft, loss or if the rental is not properly closed (windows + locked entry doors) Also, in your absence, do not leave appliances or electrical equipment on. The cottage is fitted with smoke detectors. There is a fire extinguisher in the entrance closet. Please do not leave children unattended in the rental. Pets: Small pets are allowed at our rental. It is possible to accommodate only one pet. However, a few other things are needed in order to respect the rules established to ensure the cleanliness and serenity of the premises. It is recommended that you do not put your pet on the sofa or bed. Household garbage management: A garbage can is accessible in the kitchen to allow you to dispose of and recycle your daily waste. The collection bin is located in front of the gate, located at the entrance to the Mazet. Outdoor areas: As for the Weber barbecue available on the terrace, please use it by following the safety measures taking into account the fire risk. As with all equipment, the barbecue must be cleaned after use. In the event of non-compliance with the house rules by the tenant, the landlords have the right to apply appropriate sanctions. - Termination of the rental agreement with loss of the guarantee and/or vacating the premises before the agreed departure date. Before you leave. In case of damage or breakage, it is your responsibility to let us know. Items must be replaced or refunded to the owner. The exit inventory will be done by the owner to note the condition of the furniture and major damage. The contract allows tenants to use their home insurance if necessary. Other things to note Mazet Chantilly House Rules -Introduction: The property you are renting is furnished to meet your needs during your vacation. You will find furniture, bedding, dishes, bed linen and towels.  As soon as you enter the accommodation, you can carry out an inventory and report any defects (cleanliness, damage to equipment, etc.) within 24 hours. - Check-in and checkout: On the day of your arrival, the rental will be available from 4pm. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you'd like to arrange a key exchange and a tour of the premises. If you plan to arrive later (after 9pm), please let us know in advance. On the day of checkout, you have until 10 a.m. to return the accommodation. -Number of tenants and external visitors: We rent our accommodation to you for the specific number of vacationers provided for in the rental agreement. If you wish to host visitors during your stay, please ask for our prior agreement. Guests not included in the booking are not allowed to sleep on site without an additional fee (see overnight rate/guest) The total number of occupants must not exceed 4 people maximum. - Quiet hours and respect for the neighborhood: Please limit noise at night (between 10pm and 8am) so as not to disturb the neighborhood.  Parties and events within the rental Parties, events and large gatherings are not permitted in our furnished tourist accommodation. However, some rules must be respected in order to guarantee the cleanliness and serenity of the premises: - Only one pet can be accommodated - Do not let the animal climb on the sofa or beds - The vacationer guarantees the cleaning of their pet's messes - Our animal friends are welcome, as long as they do not cause noise - Do not leave the animal alone in the rental, unattended. - Household garbage management: A garbage can is available in the kitchen to allow you to dispose of your daily waste. To take out your garbage, the collection bin is in front of the gate, located at the entrance to the Mazet. - Outdoor areas: Regarding the Weber barbecue available on the terrace, please use it compliance with safety measures and taking care of the weather (risk of fire). As with other equipment, the barbecue must be cleaned after use. Penalty for violation of the house rules In the event of non-compliance with the house rules by the tenant, the landlords reserve the right to apply appropriate penalties: - Termination of the lease with loss of security deposit. You will need to leave before the checkout date agreed upon following the interruption of the stay. - In case of damage or breakage, the items must be replaced with identical or refunded to the owner from the security deposit. The tenant can use their home insurance thanks to the vacation extension in the event of major damage found in the exit inventory. - If the cleaning carried out by guests does not meet the minimum hygiene standards, additional cleaning and maintenance hours will be charged to them.
