Waterfront wood cabin - enjoy nature in the city

Come enjoy our lake front property - nature with an up north feel and all the convenience of Brighton and Ann Arbor just around the corner. Relax on the large screened porch or make s’mores around the bonfire. - LOTS of great restaurants breweries nearby <3miles - U of M Ann Arbor = 20 miles - Mt Brighton EPIC Ski Resort = 3.2 miles - Legacy Sports Complex = 8.5 miles - Downtown Detroit = 45 miles - DTW = 45 miles The space Cozy log cabin. 1600sf home that is all yours. Great for 4 adults max. Lots of green space! -seating at large kitchen island for 4. 4 seat small table on screened in porch for warmer months. -primary bedroom on main floor w/king size bed. -upstairs loft area with reclining couch, 75” smart TV, DVD for movie nights, and a full bathroom and bedroom with queen and twin bunks. -Septic /well system - nothing down drains or toilets other than toilet paper provided. -towels and linens are provided. -drip coffee pot and filters. -tea pot / electric -water is softened and filtered and can be use straight out of faucet for drinking and cooking. - outdoor security cameras are at the entrance and exit of this home. - there is an electric fireplace that can be used for beautiful ambiance lighting - please do not turn on heater as it pulls too much power. -screened in porch is great to view multiple types of birds and listen to frogs in the spring (you may also hear cars from nearby 2 lane roadway during the day) -fire pit is bring your own wood - it is lovely to sit near water and relax by the fire at night. -no parties or events are allowed at this property. It is for the 4 maximum guests only. Guest access -WiFi works great for calls, streaming, cloud-based platforms and most things. It is TMoblle 5G, which supports IPv6 VPNs but you may have issues if you need IPv4 VPN. -Laundry room has a monitor with hdmi connection and a door that closes for privacy if you have to take work/zoom calls. Other things to note We do have 2 kayaks that guests are welcome to use at their own risk. You should bring your own life preservers. When the lake freezes, feel free to ice fish and ice skate with your own supplies Many people swim in the lake although we do not have a beach. There is a dock for kayak and boat entry on our property. There is also a shared swimming dock in the middle of the lake. In the summer, many people take their floats and rafts out here. It is a great way to relax and swim without gas powered boats and watercraft around. The house has a sauna on the back porch that is not available to guests. It is currently broken and we ask that you ask not touch it or go inside of it. No persons other than those listed on the rental are allowed on the property. No parties, no hosting of any events at any time. There are several Airbnbs that allow events - this is not one of them.
