Brownsburg located in Rockbridge County (named for The Natural Bridge) was once a stagecoach stop on the line between Staunton and Lexington. Brownsburg is now located about 20 minutes from both Staunton and Lexington. The village is located in a rural area adjacent to many agriculturally related properties. The Lucas House is located approximately 15 minutes from Interstates 81 and 64. The space The Lucas House is a historic 1785 house furnished with antiques with modern amenities. There are modern kitchen and bathroom updates to this historic property. High Speed Internet/ WiFi Multiple Office Work Areas In addition to the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, there is a Den with a Smart TV, Formal Dining Room, 2 Formal Living Rooms, and a Library. There is central heat and air conditioning. Keurig Machine and K-cups available. Guest access Guests rent the whole house. Due to our county zoning, we are limited to no more than 4 guests. NO EXCEPTIONS. Other things to note WE ARE LIMITED TO NO MORE THAN 4 GUESTS BY OUR COUNTY ZONING. NO PETS….NO EXCEPTIONS THERE ARE TWO BEDROOMS WITH QUEEN BEDS AND ON-SUITE BATHROOMS. One bedroom is on the ground floor. THE HOUSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN DUE TO HIGH PORCHES AND STAIRCASES. THERE IS LITTKE YARD SPACE FOR PLAY. NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN HOUSE. THE LUCAS HOUSE IS LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF TWO RURAL ROADS. PLEASE BE AWARE, THERE MAY BE TRAFFIC AND FARM IMPLEMENT NOISE.
