Have fun with the whole family or friends at this stylish place, located in the Masthope Mountain Community, offering year round activities! The space This cozy, one story home offers two bedrooms, and one full bathroom, open concept living-room with a wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, and a large deck with a BBQ grill, fire pit, outdoor seating area, and a picnic table. There are four parking spots in front of the house and in the driveway. In the winter enjoy our Ski Big Bear Mountain, which offers 18 ski trails, 4 chair lifts, and 3 magic carpets. If you're new to snow sports, visit the rental shop for ski/snowboard equipment or book a private lesson. And when you get tired grab a bite to eat at The Scramble Cafeteria. In the summer take advantage of the Westcolang Lake access for a swim, kayaking, fishing, etc. or enjoy the community outdoor pools and slides! Make sure to stop by the outdoor Tiki bar and Cafe! You can also go to the River Park located off Mathope Plank Rd for rafting on the Delaware River, or just use the BBQ/picninc area and its playground. You may even get lucky and spot a bald eagle! In the fall or spring visit Masthope stables located on Westcolang Rd, and their petting zoo. Go horseback riding (by prior reservation) or take some indoor arena riding lessons. Play mini golf, tennis, basketball and other games near the lodge complex. Anytime of the year: Dine at the Summit Bar and Restaurant... Shop at The Marketplace for basic food provisions, household supply needs, and novelty items. A full-size deli is available! Play some games in the Arcade room located in the lodge! Use the fitness center, equipped with state of the art health and wellness equipment and offering full range of exercise and wellness classes. Guest access Amenity Access: Please note that during the July 4th holiday weekend, the community enforces blackout dates. During this time, access to the pool, lake beach, and other community amenities is not available to renters, and no day guest passes are issued. If you have any questions about your stay during this period, feel free to reach out before booking. Property Access: You will have access to the entire house, with the exception of the crawl space, shed, and utility and linen closets, which are locked and reserved for owner use. Other things to note Amenity Guest Passes can be purchased at your discretion at the time of check-in at the Masthope Community Office located at 196 Karle Hope Blvd near the lodge. Amenity passes are needed for the pool/lake/gym and access to other community amenities. You may purchase amenity passes for part of your stay if you are not using the amenities to enjoy exploring other activities outside the Community. The primary renter must be over the age of 30 and occupy the dwelling during the rental period. Full names of all houseguests are required by the Community minimum 7 days before check- in along with vehicle(s) information. Your rental is thoroughly disinfected and cleaned to the highest standards before your arrival, using using non-toxic cleaners from Method and Seventh Generation. If you need housekeeping for long term rentals, I'll be happy to provide it weekly or biweekly by extra charge. During Winter season please use caution around the wood burning stove, if you choose to use it. If you're coming with little children bring fireplace gates or/and supervise them at all times. Any damages resulting from use of the wood burning stove will be the responsibility of the guest. You will find firewood on a covered rack outside of the back door. Put one piece of wood at a time into the stove. Remove excess ashes into the metal pail. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for $25 per hour, depending on scheduling. Please message me in advance to see if it’s possible for your stay. If approved, I’ll send a payment request through the Airbnb portal. Unauthorized late check outs will result in additional fees, depending on the time of checkout.
