The island brings together sophistication, charm, beautiful beaches, sports and lots of nature. We can divide Ilhabela into 3 regions, all with beautiful beaches: North of the ferry: it is the most urbanized region with the largest structure, especially the neighborhoods and beaches of Barra Velha, Perequê and Itaguaçu. Here is also the charming Historic Center, called Vila, an area with excellent cuisine and the main nightlife spot. South of the ferry: an area with greater contact with nature and less urbanized neighborhoods. Here is the trendiest beach in Ilhabela, Curral Beach, as well as other beautiful beaches such as Julião, Feiticeira, Portinho, Grande and Pedras Miúdas (Ilha das Cabras). Beaches facing the open sea: while the two regions above face the mainland and have calm seas, the east and a part of the south of the island face the open sea. It is a wild and difficult to access region. Some beaches are deserted and others are home to small Caiçara communities. The most frequented are Castelhanos and Bonete. We are located in Barra Velha, the neighborhood where the ferry dock is located in Ilhabela, and has a central and strategic location, since it is halfway between the beaches of the north and south of the island.
