The Old Deli 1brm unique shop/apartment conversion
Description
A truely unique stay. After 110 years as a neighbourhood delicatessen, we have lovingly restored and renovated this great space. We hope you’ll be surprised by the transformation into a stylish and spacious apartment. Located next to a popular coffee shop and micro bakery. Work from home or just relax inside and watch the world go by. Oversized quality retro furniture fills this large 60SqM space which retains some of the original features. Long stays welcome. Generous discount for 28d stays. The space Once you step through the door, you’ll be surprised by the lovely apartment that has been created in this large space. It still retains some of the features of the neighbourhood shop built in the early 1900’s such as polished concrete floors, high ceilings and industrial style lighting. The large front windows allow you to watch the world go by. However, the mirrored glass assures your privacy. Furnished with new bedding, carpet in the bedroom, Persian rugs, leather lounges and an eclectic mix of vintage furnishings. The huge updated bathroom has a claw foot bath and shower. The bedroom is filled with afternoon light filtering through the semi transparent walls. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering with a full sized fridge&freezer, oven, hot plates and all cooking utensils. There is a garden at the rear of the property where you can catch some sun rays. Parking is available on Cleaver Street or catch the bus which is just 50m away. We encourage longer stays by offering generous discounts for 7 day and 28 day stays. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the apartment including private kitchen and bathroom. There is a garden at the rear which is sometimes shared with other guests. Other things to note We would like to point out that staying at The Old Deli is a unique and fun experience. The apartment is fully self contained and seperate from the cafe and micro bakery. You can choose to step out the door, grab a coffee and a famous cinnamon scroll and interact with the friendly staff or locals. You can also choose to just enjoy your private space. You may hear muffled sounds from the street or from the coffee machine. Morning tea time is a hive of activity but afternoons are very quiet. The coffee shop is closed on Sundays. It’s fun and it’s an experience to savour but maybe it’s not for everyone. Any concerns or questions - just ask. Registration Details STRA60056U75CXN0
