Enjoy a private Bed/BR with own entrance & access to pool. You are walking distance to beach, grocery store, shops, local coffee shops and restaurants. This area is called Bird Rock located in the southern end of La Jolla. The space La Jolla Retreat The room has a queen size bed, large closet, an armoire, small sofa, a peak view of the ocean and has access to patio and pool area. This is one bedroom of the 5 bedroom home. Note: no TV in room. The Bird Rock Surf Shop is a few walking blocks away where you can rent wetsuits, surf boards and bikes too. Take a picnic to Calumet Park and enjoy views of surfers, the southern part of San Diego, and on a clear day you can see the Coronado Islands in Mexico. Walking distance to Japanese, Mexican, and American cuisine, as well as a wine bar with appetizers. Stroll around our Bird Rock main street, grab a cup of coffee at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, breakfast at Beaumont's or lunch at Bahia. Beaumont's has live music in the evenings. Go to the bead store and make a special gift for someone or yourself. Head to Nails by the Sea and get a pedi/mani/massage/facial, browse the boutiques. Walk or ride a bike to the famous Windandsea Beach, grab a bite to eat at Vahik's for fresh breakfast or (URL HIDDEN) favorite. You can go the other direction and walk or ride to Pacific or Mission Beach and enjoy the board walk, Mission Bay, the parks, shops, places to eat and pubs. An easy drive to both UC San Diego, San Diego State University and University of San Diego. Guest access We will meet you upon arrival to give you the key.
