Beachaven Historic Pilot House

Beachaven is an idyllic retreat just meters from the beach. This historic 1913 bungalow is secluded, relaxing and peaceful. At the back gate the Otago/Otepoti shipping channel, marine reserve and salt marsh. At the front is the Pacific Ocean, abundant with wildlife, penguins, seals, sealions and birds. In the lounge there is an open fire and plenty of firewood to keep you warm, with wi-fi and CD's for night time entertainment. Everything you can imagine and everything you can't... The space Beachaven is a unique location which sits on a sandy spit at the mouth of the Otepoti/Otago harbour. Access is along the beach and arrival and departure depend on the tides making it not only unique but private and secluded, living in amongst the abundant wildlife that inhabits this area.
