The Iconic House

Welcome to La Maison Mythique, in Seilles, a small peaceful village on the edge of the Meuse, right next to Andenne, Namur and Huy. Here, we come to rest, breathe, walk, work or just enjoy the calm. A king size bed, a pellet stove for the atmosphere, a desk area for working (or pretending), a well-equipped kitchen, fast wifi, Netflix... everything is there to make you feel good. And rest assured, we thought of everything... except the pajamas: that, we don't lend it! The space Living Room: A quiet little living room to breathe after a day outside (or inside). Fluffy sofa, flat-screen TV with Netflix, a few books to pick up, and a Google Home to listen to radio from around the world or ask weird questions (she always responds quietly). Kitchen: Convenient, complete, no fuss: fridge, microwave, Nespresso, dishes, utensils, dining table. You can prepare a good breakfast, reheat a dish or make well-filled toast. And if you opt for a prepared dish... promised, we don't judge 😉 Bedroom: A king size bed for sleeping comfortably (or starfish), a large wardrobe to store everything, and an air purifier for light sleep. It's simple: you may not want to get up anymore. Bathroom: Functional, clean, and most importantly equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. We provide the essentials: soap, shampoo, toilet paper… so you can get your hands in the pockets (except for the pajamas, because that, we still don't lend it!😄). Office: A quiet little corner to work or isolate yourself a little. There is a flat screen, an HDMI outlet, and there is an extra bed, if you are traveling with a child or friend. Amenities: -Fast WiFi - Heating in a pellet stove - Summer fan - Washer available if you stay a few days. Location: The house is located in Seilles, a quiet and secure area on the banks of the Meuse. You are a 17-minute walk from Andenne train station, a 7-minute drive from Andenne's supermarkets and shops, and very close to the Sclaigneaux nature reserve, perched on the heights, with its forested trails, meadows and splendid views of the valley. We are committed to making your stay enjoyable, simple and relaxed. Need anything? A tip, a tip, a hand? We're here for you, with pleasure. Guest access What we love most is welcoming you in person. We are always available, whenever possible, to welcome you, show you around the house, answer your first questions and give you some local tips. Just let us know about 20 minutes before you arrive (a short message via Whats App or SMS) to get organized and open the door for you with a smile. And if our schedules don't allow it, no stress: you can get in on your own with a lockbox. Other things to note Seilles is a village on the banks of the Meuse, in the province of Namur. It's peaceful, green, and just far enough away from the world without being at the end of the world. The Sclaigneaux nature reserve, right next door, is a little gem for nature lovers: wooded trails, meadows, and lots of little corners to discover. Perfect for walking, taking pictures or just clearing your head. Andenne, Huy and Namur are minutes away. Convenient for taking a tour of the city, shopping or discovering the surroundings.
