This cozy, bright room with sitting area is located in the heart of Leiden city center, and overlooks the cozy Botermarkt, located on one of the nicest canals in Leiden. This pleasant room has a lovely double bed, and a nice sitting area. The space This room is the middle of three guest rooms in our beautiful building on the Botermarkt. You can't dream of a better location, you are in the heart of the city, close to the water, close to all the restaurants, parks, shops, etc. All our rooms have their own private bathroom and share a nice roof terrace with views over the Leiden rooftops and a complete compact kitchen. (coffee/tea/spa red from the house) In all our rooms, there is free WiFi. Bicycles can be rented for 15 euros per day, please book 2 days in advance. Guest access In addition to your own room, with comfortable seating area and private bathroom, you can also use a kitchenette and the terrace. You share this with two other guest rooms. In the kitchenette, there is a refrigerator, a gas stove, a coffee machine and a kettle. There is plenty of kitchenware and tableware for making your own cup of coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch. The terrace is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Leiden (to be used between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.). Other things to note This is an ideal base for discovering charming Leiden. The room is really right in the city center, a few dozen meters from the town hall, the Castle, and the Hooglandse church. The possibilities to discover are endless: wander through the streets or take one of the Leiden walks, visit the market, one of the many museums or churches, enjoy good food and drinks in one of the many Leiden restaurants, take a nice walk in one of the parks... Or rent a boat to take a trip on the canals, or a bike to discover the beautiful cycling routes in the area. Within half an hour of cycling, you'll even be by the sea! It is often pleasantly busy at the Botermarkt. On Wednesday and Saturday, there is a market in front of the door. This is set up on Saturday from 6 a.m. (We provide earplugs.) In the spring/summer, there are often events that take place on and around the Botermarkt. !!The stairs are steep and not pleasant for people who have difficulty walking stairs!!
