La Casita Eco Country House

The Casita Eco Country House is nestled in nature, embraced by the woods and olive trees. It is located just a few minutes from Udine and Cividale del Friuli (a UNESCO site). Here you can relax and rejuvenate, easily access numerous hiking, mountain biking, river trekking routes on the Natisone river (with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque beaches that will make you not miss the sea!) and discover the wonderful villages and historical centers of Friuli. The space The Casita Eco Country House is located in an elevated position with a wonderful view of the valley. It is easily accessible from the main road, and the large parking area is at the end of a 50-meter gravel driveway. From the parking area to the accommodation, there is another 50 meters of a small road accessible to everyone with a slight slope, to be traveled on foot (the car must always be left in the parking area). To access the apartment, there are 2 steps. Internally, the apartment is on one floor and is divided into two communicating areas, including the kitchen. The main entrance is in the living area, where you can also find the bathroom and the bedroom with bunk beds. In the other area of the house, there is the double bedroom with access to the external garden and a small study room with a sofa bed and TV (the layout can be seen in the photo gallery). The outdoor area is surrounded by a tiled area, a gazebo, and a table for outdoor dining. It is naturally delimited but not completely fenced, so if you have pets, it is important that they respond to your call if you want to let them roam freely. There is also a large shared garden that is shared with our family, which is partially fenced but surrounded by the greenery of the woods and olive trees. The shared garden can be used at any time by guests. * The ceiling height in the bathroom and study is 1.98m. Guest access The entire house, in addition to the adjacent tiled area where the gazebo is located, is dedicated exclusively to guests, even though there are no fences delimiting the space. The large garden with the small above-ground pool is a shared space with our family that guests can freely use to relax at any time of the day. Please note that the pool is not part of the house's services but can still be used by guests if they wish. It is important that it is used at your own risk. Other things to note Upon request, we can serve breakfast directly in the apartment. In the morning, we prepare our "breakfast-box" with your choices from the menu and deliver it at the requested time (from 7 to 10). The additional cost for breakfast is €5.00 per person. Breakfasts are prepared by me, with predominantly natural and fresh ingredients. We do not use dairy or any animal by-products, except for our honey and eggs in some recipes. All cakes are vegan, except for the crostata for which we use eggs. However, we can also prepare it without eggs upon request. REMINDER: • The ceiling in the bathroom and study is 1.98m high. (It is not a comfortable bathroom for very tall people) • Pets are allowed, but we ask that you respect a few simple rules: 1- Pick up pet waste in the garden. 2- Do not allow dogs on beds or sofas. 3- Do not let the dogs roam freely outdoors if they do not respond and return to your call. • La Casita is a rustic accommodation located in the countryside, surrounded by woods. All windows are protected by mosquito nets, but living with animals and some insects (harmless) is part of country life.
