Stunning Forest View Cabin & Chef’s Kitchen

Grizzly Bear Chalet, nestled in the picturesque mountain town of Lake Arrowhead near the quaint village of Blue Jay, offers a stylish and comfortable retreat. With a chef's kitchen and a spacious open living room concept, it promises a home away from home experience. The space Our mountain home has soaring ceilings and picturesque windows so you can enjoy the forest views from everywhere in the kitchen and living room area. The chef's kitchen has a 10 ft. Island and 4 chairs, as well as another high dining table with 2 more island chairs. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook up a great meal. Drip coffee machine with delicious Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is provided for you as well as a Nespresso machine. Cozy up to the ‘easy to use’ ceramic gas log fireplace, no mess, no clean up! (firewood is not allowed). A giant 60" TV is all set up for you to log into your favorite streaming services. All beds are brand new and are very comfortable-not too soft, not too hard. Cotton linens and pillows are provided along with thick towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. Extra blankets and comforters are also available in every room. The primary bedroom with a King bed is upstairs with a connected bathroom. Downstairs there are two additional Queen size bed bedrooms with a full bathroom in between. Laundry is also located downstairs. Please note the stairs down are steep so take care stepping down. Unfortunately, this not a wheelchair accessible home. Enjoy the large, tranquil balcony with a peek-a-boo view of Lake Arrowhead. There is beautiful outdoor gas fire pit for your use along with four Adirondack chairs, and warm wool blankets in the storage bin for your quiet outdoor, evening nights. The chalet is best for 4 adults or a couple with 2 kids. It can accommodate up to 6 however. Guest access Entire home driveway for two cars and back balconies. Free WiFi. Free laundry use. Other things to note Please note: We do not allow anyone under the age of 28 unless they are children accompanied by their parents. We require all guests names, ages and ID (unless it's a child) that will be staying at the cabin. The cabin isn't set up for babies. There is a long narrow stairway to the 1st floor. We do have baby screens please notify us if you are bringing an infant. It's our goal to provide a clean and comfortable stay for you at our cabin. We do ask for a damage deposit due to previous guests not respecting our property and property items. The cleaning fee is for general cleaning. This doesn't mean leaving the place with extra trash around, stains not cleaned, sticky floors and counters. Accidents happen of course but please notify us if there is damage to the property or an item. We provide guests with a google sheet with clear check in and check out instructions. We expect all guests to respect our property and treat it like it's their own place. There are security camera's located on the outside of the property only. There are no cameras in the house or voice recording devices. There is absolutely NO smoking or vaping of any kind on our property. It’s an extreme fire hazard. The alarm is set remotely and will not be available for use during your stay. We turn it on when there are no guests. Lock all doors when you’re out and about and at night, and upon final departure. If you use the fire pit, it is a fire danger so please take care and make sure the propane tank is turned off completely and the flames are off after use. Please wait for cool down before placing the cover back on. Please place the covers on the Adirondack chairs upon checkout. Same for the indoor fireplace. Please make sure the damper/Flue is open when using and closed when not in use. Please turn gas off completely after use. No firewood or Duraflame logs are allowed. It has built in ceramic logs. Food attracts wildlife, please do not leave trash out of the bins outside, or around the property. Please do not leave trash or food on the balcony or throw trash or food off of the balcony into the forest area. We are not responsible for any encounters with wildlife. Bears and coyotes can be aggressive do not approach them and do not take walks early morning or late evenings. When you arrive please undo the chain to the driveway. You’re welcome to leave it off during your stay but please hook it back up upon departure. Upon consideration of your rental, we will provide a detail list of conditions and rules that you must agree to.
