The Casa Maya Del Jabín is a room with a beautiful jabín tree inside. In the room you will find a double bed, a desk, a hammock and a Yucatecan-style chair. The space Casa Maya Del Jabín is a room with a beautiful jabin tree inside. In the room you will find a double bed, a desk, a hammock and a Yucatecan chair. The ceiling is 1.5 higher than the walls, so you'll have a feeling of plenty of space. The bathroom is almost as big as the room. The room was named after the beautiful and large jabín tree that crowns it and gives it freshness and shade. The jabín tree is highly valued by the Mayans, since it serves as load-bearing columns, the honey of its flowers produces a highly appreciated nectar, the honey "of the jabín", a white honey of very good quality that does not crystallize, which is used to sweeten drinks and to heal colds, sore throat, burns and cuts. Artisans use its wood to carve figurines and make furniture and other artifacts. Its wood has veins and "stripes" that reflect its years, its life and its strength. In addition, when using it as firewood, after lighting it and extinguishing the flame, you can re-light it just by fanning it. Stay in a beautiful and original Mayan House; built with the elements and construction techniques developed over 3,000 years by the Mayans. Stay in an authentic sustainable room; the construction was made with natural materials which will allow us to return them to the ground when their useful life ends. Rooms built with organic materials are healthy as they do not exhale hazardous materials. Give your body a break! Hot water is obtained by solar heaters and all homes are connected to a wastewater treatment based on microorganisms and bananas. The entire property has fruit trees and vegetation from the region. Enjoy a pool made of rocks and chukum (resin from a Yucatecan tree used to create finishes). Have fun on game nights. Immerse yourself in nature and give your body a break by sleeping in a room built with natural elements. Aldea Maya Toktli Orígenes also has a restaurant area where we provide breakfasts, workshops, game nights and a lot of green areas where you can sit and relax, exercise, yoga or observe birds and nature in general. The cost of the room is for up to 2 people, up to 3 people could stay, 1 of them would sleep in a hammock and has an additional cost per person per night. Guest access Rooms, pool, gardens, parking, restaurant bar and reception (with hours). During your stay I'll be available for whatever you need. Other things to note We have workshops for handmade soaps, mixology, recycled paper, Mexican sauces, natural paints, bajareque and Compost & Worm Compost. Ask about costs.
