Cozy 2 BR glamping tent with pool, BBQ, riverside

Situated within an enchanting forest and on the riverside, our two-bedroom safari lodge at Quinta do Rio Alva offers a serene escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of modern life. Just steps from the Rio Alva and a short 50-metre stroll to Praia Fluvial da Ronqueira, this spacious lodge comfortably accommodates up to five guests. Immerse yourself in nature's embrace while enjoying modern comforts and the beauty of our hectare of land. The space The safari lodge is equipped with a kitchen, with a 2-burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, hand blender, coffee machine and crockery. The dining area is suitable for the whole family, but during the warm summer months you can also sit outside on the veranda with a picnic bench. The pool area and deck is shared with the guests staying at the Quinta. The luxurious bathroom has a toilet, sink and a real hammam rain shower. We provide towels and toiletries. The lodge has 2 bedrooms; one having a double bed, whilst the other has a bunk bed and a single bed. Bed linen and pillows are provided. We also provide cots if required. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kitchen stove, Blender, coffee machine, Cooking utensils, Microwave, Refrigerator , Toaster. There are two dining areas ,one on the inside of the tent, and another on the outside porch. We also provide a gas grill BBQ. If you aren't in the mood for cooking your own meals and fancy local Portuguese cuisine, a restaurant lies across the road serving home-made hearty Portuguese meals. Another restaurant is around 200 metres away across the river, while at the river beach 50 metres away there is a bar serving cold drinks perfect for that hot Portuguese summer. Guest access Guests have access to the whole tent, the gas BBQ on the porch of the tent, the pool area and the land around the Lodges for recreational activities. The upper terrace (including the dining area and the BBQ) is strictly restricted for guests at the Quinta. Other things to note Arganil is the closest town and is 5 min away by car. It has supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centre, shops and restaurants. More information can be found in our guest handbook. The city of Coimbra is 40 mins away. The closest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, and a car journey takes approximately 1h30 mins. Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon is a 2h30 min drive. Please note that having your own car is preferable for your stay at Quinta do Rio Alva. Having your own car will give you more flexibility and freedom to explore the surrounding areas and easily reach nearby attractions, such as hiking trails, charming villages, and local restaurants.
