Architecturally designed with a nod to the humble corrugated shed, Lume is a luxurious, light and spacious couple’s retreat. Snuggle by the fire or relax on your private deck and enjoy the expansive views. Self contained with kitchenette to dine in or only a few minutes walk from the pub, cafe, general store and wineries. The space Lume is a self contained, semi detached studio guesthouse located at the front of the property. Guests can park on-site with additional street parking available. Continental breakfast including house made muesli and jam, bread, yoghurt, coffee, tea and fruit juice is provided. The house is clad in Zincalume with an entrance porch facing East and private deck facing to the North. The view from the deck is outstanding. Entering via the Green door you will find open plan living with cathedral ceilings and 2.7 metre high picture windows. The living space offers a Nectre slow combustion fire, sofa and dining with a kitchenette. The style is comfortable and eclectic, leaning slightly to mid century modern. Blending new and found pieces, honey toned timber, and muted tones. The adjoining bedroom is light and airy, with queen bed, down quilt dressed with vintage linen. The ensuite offers walk in shower with hand and rain-shower. The vanity is of oak salvaged from the property after a storm. There is a wardrobe with luggage stand. There is reverse cycle heating and cooling and ceiling fans in the living and bedroom. The studio is 37 square metres (excluding decks) Other things to note There are 5 steps up to the guesthouse. Vodafone has limited to no service in the valley. We recommend you download any maps or instructions prior to your arrival. EV Charging It is recommended to top up prior to your arrival in the valley. Level 1 off peak (overnight), top up charging is available only by prior arrangement. Please message us for more detail.
