Set on 38 acres, the home is influenced by Irish equestrians. Its owner Kelli spent time learning from some of the best horseman in Ireland who resided in their own “Hunt Box”or small living quarters connected directly to the barn. The large floor to ceiling windows allow you to experience watching the horses in their natural state. The space provides guests with the small, simple and beautiful moments of being an equestrian. This is an unforgettable experience like no other. The space The space is set up so guests can experience the full equestrian lifestyle. There are strategically no televisions in the living room to encourage guests to find peace and friendship in our horses, nature and each other. The large gourmet kitchen is a chefs dream and was designed to bring back that wholesome experience of togetherness while enjoying a great meal. The master bedroom is a tranquil escape with views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a wall projector connected to wifi where you can sign into your streaming services. A spa-like ensuite bathroom provides a private sanctuary for relaxation and the soaking tub is a symbol of “The harder you work for something, the greater the feeling of achievement.” A second bedroom allows up to four guests to experience the joy of being together here but also have a comfortable space to relax on their own. We have professionals who will come on site to make this experience happen for you. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and can also visit the horses in the barn. Guests can also walk the entire property including the field with the horses they just need to sign the waiver and be mindful of the rules including locking gates behind them. Other things to note You will be staying on a working horse farm. Animals are attended to Monday through Sunday 7am-8pm. You will see people working in the barn, feeding and caring for the horses and other animals. This includes using ATVs and tractors, all sounds you need to ok with happening during those hours. Your area in the Hunt box is private and will only be occupied by those renting at the time. You have access to the entire farm and you may interact with the animals after signing a waiver and reading the rules. Please do not light any candles or use any open flame in the Hunt Box. Any type of flame is very dangerous around hay and shavings. This place is very special to us as it houses our horses. No smoking of any kind in or around the Hunt Box. You may smoke in the designated smoking area in the parking lot. From time to time, we will have canine guests in our rescue rooms in the barn below. Please do not open and interact with the guests in the rescue rooms in the main barn as they are in various stages of rescue. Please use the fire pit in the horse pasture but make sure the fence is always secured and that the fire is out at the end of the night. You can gather wood from the land or bring your own. Once you sign your waiver we encourage you to please visit with the horses! Be mindful however, that they are curious creatures. Please only feed them treats from the designated treat box and please give them sparingly. Almost all of them are on diets because they are loved so much. Please keep dogs on leash at all times, not near horses and do not bring any dogs into the office as the office cat “Rip” lives there.
