Fiddlers Green Cottage is a charming 18th Century cottage in the lovely village of St Florence, only five minutes from Tenby. A superb location for exploring the wonderful area, close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and many beautiful beaches. (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) The space Fiddlers Green Cottage is an 18th Century stone cottage situated at the end of a lane just five minutes from Tenby. Set in three acres of stunning gardens, with lawns and a stream running through mature woodland, it is full of character and truly idyllic. The lounge has an inglenook fireplace and is the perfect spot to get cosy and relax after a busy day exploring everything the area has to offer. Fiddlers Green Cottage is on the outskirts of the beautiful village of St Florence, only two miles from the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, providing a superb venue for an almost endless repertoire of lovely, scenic walks. The village has a store and an excellent pub serving food daily, just a five-minute walk away. If you’re looking for a beach holiday, Tenby has it all. With many wonderful sandy beaches to choose from, as well as beachside cafes and restaurants, ice cream parlours and boat trips, there’s plenty to enjoy. If you’re looking for a quieter spot for a day out, there are several secluded bays within easy driving distance. It’s worth visiting the several fabulous castles in the area, including Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier. If you’re looking for a day out filled with family fun, the popular attractions of Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Activities, and Manor Wildlife Park are a few minutes away. In fact, the delightful calls of gibbons at the zoo can be heard daily from the gardens at ‘Fiddlers’! Fiddler’s Green Cottage adjoins the owner’s home but the patio is for your private use. 2 parking places to the side of the cottage. Travel cot available, please bring your own cot bedding Gas central heating Heating and electricity included Free WiFi One well-behaved dog welcome at no extra charge No smoking Other things to note Pre-arrival: - The Bus stop is at the top of the village next to Manor Park (360-TENBY/PEMBROKE DOCK Via Carew). - Visitors, as a rule, cannot be collected from the TRAIN/BUS Station, but a call to the owner prior to arrival can be made if they can help in any way. Arrival and parking: - There are two car parking spaces for unloading directly outside the cottage, which is on a slight slope of gravel - There is ample outside lighting which is triggered by movement, no handrails and no steps from the car to the front door Inside: - The door leads into a full-sized functional kitchen with an Aga, gas hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, hoover, kettle, (cordless) toaster, ironing board, iron, microwave, hanging space for wet coats and boots etc. - This leads to a large lounge with wooden beams, an inglenook fireplace with a large log burner, there is a TV with Freesat, which both have remote controls, a 3 and a 2-seater sofa and a coffee table with wall lighting all around - The lounge leads you into the ground floor twin bedroom, which again has wall lighting and a wardrobe and shelving. There is room on either side of one of the twins with the other up against the wall, this leads to a full-sized bathroom with ample lighting, a sunken bath, a large shower, a wash basin and WC - There is also seating in the shower, but no handrails - Upstairs there is a triple room with one double and one single bed, both with ample space on either side, all with wall lights and lighting above too, there is a walk-in wardrobe with more than ample hanging and storage space - There is also a small en suite with a shower, wash basin and WC - There is no room for a cot in the twin room but more than ample space for this in the triple Outside: - A private patio area with seating for 5 people, a washing line and grassed area which is on a steep hill is accessed via 3 steep slate steps. (a stream does run through the garden on the front of the property, but this is the other side of the wall from the cottage. The seating area is private outside the cottage but is not enclosed.
