Our riverfront villa is a haven in the Serra do Acor mountains in central Portugal, offering an unforgettable holiday getaway for families and friends looking for adventure, relaxation and quality time together. Sleeping 11, the Quinta has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a fully furnished living area, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a private dining and outdoor BBQ area with charcoal grill and pizza oven, a terrace with a spectacular view of the river and forest and an outdoor pool (shared). The space WHAT MAKES QUINTA DO RIO ALVA SPECIAL? • Five bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms with comfortable linen, towels, toiletries, hair dryer, heating, ceiling fans and pool towels. One twin bedroom is on the ground floor, while the other bedrooms are upstairs. • Large living room with smart 54"TV, PlayStation 4, Wifi, board games. • Large indoor dining area. • Fully stocked kitchen with coffee making facilities. • A private covered outdoor dining area that can easily accommodate 12 people. • A private barbecue area including a pizza oven and charcoal grill. • The use of stand up paddle boards and inflatable canoes. What stands out is THE LOCATION. We believe that this is a little piece of paradise. Guest access The guests staying at the villa have private access to the entire house, outdoor kitchen, outdoor dining area and BBQ area. The pool is shared with other guests staying in our glamping tents, and is the only shared area of our property. Other things to note Arganil is the closest town and is 5 min away by car. It has supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centre, shops and restaurants. More information can be found in our guest handbook. The city of Coimbra is 40 mins away. The closest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, and a car journey takes approximately 1h30 mins. Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon is a 2h30 min drive. Please note that having your own car is preferable for your stay at Quinta do Rio Alva. Having your own car will give you more flexibility and freedom to explore the surrounding areas and easily reach nearby attractions, such as hiking trails, charming villages, and local restaurants.
