Les Melogottes Bed and Breakfast

Bonjour! In Chambres d'Hôtes Les Melogottes, you can enjoy peace, quiet and nature in the middle of the forest and without neighbors, away from all the hustle and bustle of modern society. There are possibilities for hiking (countless hiking routes available) and cycling. But there are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy the good Burgundian French life, a flea market, a bike ride along the Canal Du Niverais or a dip in the Lac du Settons. The space The rooms and bathroom are located on the first floor on the mezzanine, where there is also a cozy sitting room with coffee and tea facilities. The sofa in the loft can also be used as a sofa bed. Fiber optic WiFi is available everywhere. The pink room is located on the left in the loft of the 2nd floor. Here you will wake up wonderfully to the singing of the birds and the babbling river Dragne. This bedroom has a nice double bed of 1.40 m by 1.90 m. The green room is located on the right of the loft of the 1st floor. The forest and nature are very close here. The room has a bed of 1.40 m by 1.90 m, and a simple single bed of 0.9 m by 1.80 m for an extra person. The bathroom is located on the mezzanine of the 2nd floor next to the rooms and has a lovely bathtub where you lie under the starry sky. Guest access In the spring and autumn, it is wonderful to relax on the terrace with beautiful views over the valley. If it is very warm, then there are also seats on the north terrace under the 100-year-old chestnut tree with an old water source, in the orchard or at the babbling brook the Dragne where you can also take a fresh dip. Everything exudes peace and quiet. Perfect for reading a nice book if you have a rest day. In the morning, you will wake up to the birds singing to each other, see the buzzard floating on the first warm air stream of spring, or see a few deer feasting on fresh green leaves from the orchard. In the evening, you can hear the owl and see the stars and Milky Way because there is no light pollution. During your stay We are present and can always answer questions. Other things to note In our guest room on the ground floor, we welcome you with a delicious French breakfast, complete with fragrant coffee and tea. Enjoy a wide variety of freshly baked bread, including crispy French baguettes, airy croissants and decadent pain au chocolat. Indulge in delicious French cheeses, creamy butter and our homemade cherry jam from our own garden. In addition, we offer a selection of tasty cereals and muesli, accompanied by fresh, creamy yogurt and refreshing fruit juice. In season, you can also expect something delicious from our own vegetable garden. In fine weather, you can enjoy these delicacies on the terrace, accessible through French doors from the central room.
