Sunset at the Silos lives up to its name with views of sunsets, pastures of cattle, and if you're lucky deer! The silo may be just 24 feet across, but everything you need is here! The space Step into Sunset at the Silos’ living room using convenient keyless entry and relax on the buttery soft sofa while looking up and enjoying the airy and spacious feel afforded by the silo’s height. Watch host-provided Netflix on either of the two 32” smart TVs located in the living room and in the loft bedroom….or feel free to download and view your favorite streaming channels to catch up on your favorite shows! If you'd rather have a friendly competition-we have cards and board games provided that will finally settle that debate on who the real winner is! Steps away, prep and cook your favorite secret recipes in the well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave. You’ll also have a hand mixer and toaster you can use if needed! You’ll find plenty of counterspace – including the kitchen peninsula – and all the cookware, bakeware, dishware, flatware, glassware, serving-ware, and utensils you need to prepare and serve your favorite recipes. Dine right at the kitchen peninsula on barstool seating for 2 or watch your better half cook you dinner! Grab your morning hot beverage from the coffee bar with Keurig coffeemaker and coffee/tea supplies. Once you've made your morning pick me up, head out to the front porch with seating for 2. This is a delightful spot to sip that beverage while observing the tranquil country setting and grazing cattle. Watch the sunrise from here, explore the grounds and creek that run alongside the silo, cook lunch on the BBQ grill, or plan what your adventure for that day will be! After a full day of exploring everything the Caledonia area has to offer – or just relaxing and exploring at Sunset at the Silos... head up the winding stairs to the loft bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, bedside tables, and lamps for that late night reading session when you just can't put that book down! Snuggle into the super soft linens and take advantage of the remote controlled room-darkening shades – or watch the sunset over the creek. You’ll find a mirror here, along with two luggage racks for packing and unpacking all the great souvenirs you found in Caledonia! For any remote-work needs, you’ll have a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair in the loft bedroom. Fair warning that you may get distracted by the beautiful views out the windows though...Good thing your boss isn't standing over your shoulder! The living room sofa folds into a twin XL and is available to accommodate additional sleeping requirements. If you need more space than this, there is also a queen-sized air mattress with a self-inflating and deflating switch found in the laundry room along with extra bedding and pillows. Refresh and rejuvenate in the bathroom with double-sink vanity, shower, and all the bathroom essentials you'll need. We also have a space heater in the bathroom to make sure it is nice and toasty before you get in the shower! You love the convenience of the laundry room with washer and dryer if you play a little hard outside and get dirty. Plenty of additional spots are available in the yard or up the sides of the driveway. Just off Hwy 21, Sunset at the Silos is close to historic Caledonia, state parks, small shops, historic homes, biking/hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and wineries. Please DO NOT unplug the sync module for the cameras. This is located inside the silo in the upstairs window. Since the silo is metal this must be placed in a window to help boost the signal to these cameras outside. This is not a camera inside and is simply there to make sure the cameras outside work for your safety and ours. If something were to happen to your vehicles or the silo this would help both of us if needed. Thank you for understanding. Parties are not permitted, per Airbnb regulations. Pets are not permitted. While the front of the silo looks over beautiful pastures with cattle grazing, the silo is not far off a busy road. Don't worry though...You can't hear it from the inside of the silo and can hardly hear it from the front porch! You will forget it is even there! Sunset at the Silos has no dishwasher.
