Guest access What to do outdoors near the house... Leaving the house gate, going down the street, turning right on Avenida Beira, just 400 meters from the house, there is a sand soccer field. Those who like to play soccer... there is a playground with a seesaw and a wooden house for children to play while the players are getting their game on... if you get thirsty and want to cool off, there is a restaurant in front of the field... for the kids there is a little house with "sacolé for sale" written on the wall... just stop there in front of the window and call for "Cecélia." She will serve you with all affection and the children will love it.... I- Hiking II- Sports Practice (soccer) III- Sand playground, seesaw and wooden house for children IV- Cecelia's Sacolé Continuing the walk on Avenida Beira Mar for another 400 meters towards Ponta da Areia, there is another small grassy square with a swing, seesaw, a small pier and flowers, all well cared for... there are benches and a small pier... a great place for a late afternoon photo... V - Late afternoon photo; VI - Small Pier VII- Lawn playground VIII- Stool for those who, even though they have only walked 800 meters so far, claim to have already walked almost 10 km. Take the opportunity to contemplate the beauty of the view, the children playing and the beautiful refreshing breeze. Continuing the walk for another 400 meters towards Ponta da Areia, there will be a stretch of dirt road at the end, there will be a PIER. For those who like fishing, this is a great place. Some will say it's a lie, but here we have already seen fishing for fish up to 3 kilos. The biggest one I've ever caught, incredible as it may seem, was my daughter who fished it. It was about 800 grams and it was caught with a toy rod and with a single hook and without a sinker. She lowered the line and fished. If you like fishing, the best time for fishing is from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and in the late afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We use shrimp from the lagoon itself as bait, which can be bought in the houses of the fishermen of the region (there are some houses with signs selling shrimp) or you can also buy shrimp from the lagoon at the Municipal Fish Market of São Pedro. If you brought a cookie in your bag, crumble it and throw it in the water, you will see some little fish there. During the fishing, there is a heron that usually lands and stays there on the pier next to the fishermen. Some carry buckets and put the fish inside the bucket. If you're not careful, the heron will come and fish inside your bucket and the fish will be quickly swallowed. Some fishermen call it a "partner" and it ends up taking a part of their fishing gains if you get distracted. Some fishermen, when fishing for small fish, put it there on the pier and the heron comes close to get the fish, providing a beautiful photo that will become a fisherman's story but with a record of everything. IX - Fishing What to do outdoors near the house at a low cost? Leaving the house gate, going down the street and turning left on Estrada do Boqueirão, just 100 meters away there is a large tree that is propped up... those who are more adventurous will want to climb the trunk to take a beautiful photo with a background of a privileged view with the sea in the background. Those lucky ones will also find some small boats anchored very close that will further embellish the photo... in the background, far away in the lagoon, you can see the bridge that connects São Pedro da Aldeia to Cabo Frio I - Break for tree climbing; II - Adventure photo record; Continuing the walk on Estrada do Boqueirão for 600 meters at number 2705, you will find the Church of Nossa Senhora das Graças. In front of the Church there is a small store with delicious sugarcane juice and pastries. Next to the Church there is a soccer field. This one, with two runs from one goal to the other, leaves many people who are not exercising with their tongues hanging out. Next to the field there is a small square with a swing, slide, benches and a wooden house. If you continue walking towards the bottom of the soccer field, back there is Praia do Sol, where there are several kiosks as well. III- Church of Nossa Senhora das Graças IV- Break for a sugarcane juice and pastry; V- Grass soccer field VI - Children's playground VII- Walk on Praia do Sol Other things to note Place to buy things. Less than 200 meters from the house on the road to Boqueirão 3644 there is a small market that operates every day at the following times: Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the market there is a beautiful bakery where you can find sweet breads, cakes, salt breads, house pizza... the cold cuts are freshly sliced on the spot directly at the bakery counter... if you have been away all year and want to surprise your wife or family... it's a great opportunity to wake up, bring a warm bread and set the breakfast table... there is also a small Hortifruti with fruits and vegetables... On the sidewalk of the market, a trailer has recently opened. It sells snacks, chicken pies, natural guarana and drinks. I- Grocery store; II- Hortifruti; III- Bakery; IV- Cold; V- Drinks; VI- Snack location Continuing down the street along the Boqueirão road, 600 meters from the market is Praia do Sudoeste. The trendiest beach in São Pedro da Aldeia. If you have some cookies in your bag, wait for them to crumble and throw them in the water, then Nature will bring a beautiful joy of seeing some little fish. There are several kiosks on the waterfront. Arriving at Sudoeste beach, turning left we find in the first kiosks a rental structure for pedal boats and kayaks. Continuing the walk, there will be some well-known kiosks with a larger structure, such as Xodó da Praia, Nopoié, and others. The shrimp pastel with catupiry from the Xodó da Praia kiosk is a good choice, but don't just stick to this flavor. Ask for the menu and try some of the different flavors. The kiosk usually operates until 9 p.m. If you want to walk in the early evening to burn calories and then make a stop to find all the calories again in the various flavors of pastries, it's a good choice. Continuing the walk at the end of Praia do Sudoeste, you will find a small pier. Here, around 7:30 am to 9:00 am every day during the open fishing season, you will find fishermen arriving with fresh fish, still alive and at a great cost-benefit. Those who want to venture out to buy a mullet and cook it on the barbecue, just talk to the fisherman, negotiate a box and ask the fishermen to clean the mullet already to leave it in the way to put it to roast on the barbecue grill wrapped in aluminum foil, then pass by the market on the way back, buy a roll of aluminum foil to wrap the fish and a bag of lemon pepper seasoning to season the mullet. Don't forget the charcoal. If you forget, no problem, on the way back the market is less than 200 meters from the house VIII- Walk IX- Pedal boat or kayak ride; X - Kiosks; XI - Little fish near the sand; XII - Beach bath; XIII - Stop for snacks (varieties of pastries); XIV - Purchase of fish directly from fishermen. Near the pier is the condominium that gives access to Praia da Ponta dos Cardeiros (Roberto Marinho farm). Going up the little street and walking about 600 meters is Baleia beach. For more details on the beaches in the area, see the printed guide in the living room. Have a nice stay.
