The accomodation has parking and private entrance, with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom. A large open living space with kitchen, breakfast bar and lounge area. And, of course, the pièce de résistance awaits you – our inviting jacuzzi hot tub. Immerse yourself in its warm embrace as you soak away the stresses of the day, surrounded by the crisp air and starlit skies. It's the perfect spot for quiet conversations, stargazing, or simply basking in the blissful solitude. The hot tub automatically shuts off between midnight and 8.00am Recommended for couples looking for a quiet, tranquil, relaxing, romantic retreat. Without everyday hustle and bustle, amd noise Guest access Guests have access to the entrance and private parking with a designated parking space. The stables, decking and hot tub are for your personal use for the length of your stay Guests are welcome to use the field to exercise or sit and relax, and stargaze The field is also used by the owners to exercise their 2 small dogs Other things to note We are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful forestry, for walking/ cycling. We are also right between Dartmoor and the beautiful beaches of Bude, which is 40 minutes drive, with its clean beaches and coves, and the famous sea pool, and various eateries A few of our favourites are The Bank at Bude - Spanish Tapas Elements - Italian The Olive Tree - for breakfast, lunch, dinner, situated on the river front in Bude Gotland Gin at Sheepwash (15 minutes drive) make their own gin, you can book an experience with them. They are open for cocktails, charcuterie/cheese boards, check their website. The closest pub is The Junction Inn at Halwill, 5 minutes drive, offering breakfast rolls, and pub food to eat in or takeaway (even Sunday roast) you can call ahead to order your takeaway. There is also a fish & chip shop in Halwill and The Village Inn at Ashwater, situated in a picturesque square, serving food lunchtime and evening (Please check before hand) The Half Moon Inn at Sheepwash is a quaint village pub/restaurant., in the square At Black Torrington The Black River Inn, have a unique menu, Devon Tapas cooked on solid fuel fire. The Village Inn at Ashwater is 15 minute drive. Recently refurbished, serving lovely food lunch times and evenings. Please check The town of Okehampton is 25 minutes drive. There is a range of supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and a cinema. From here you can catch a train to Exeter, with lots of shopping, restaurants such as The Ivy and Cote.
