Welcome to the charming Tower Ascent! In our 100-year-old house you’ll stay at the very top, quiet, bright, and cozy. Highlight: an extra room that’s quite possibly Germany’s smallest bedroom, with a tiny entry, its own window, shimmering walls, and a snug bed. It’s not just kids who love it, grown-up “kids” choose it as a special retreat, too. Despite the nearby motorway, the atmosphere invites deep calm. Lovingly restored by us. Perfect for three guests. The space Up here, the unwinding starts on the stairs: “Tower Ascent” sits at the very top of a 100-year-old house filled with light, inviting calm, and wrapped in a sense of coziness. The building was once intended as a place of rest for travelers; that’s exactly the feeling our family is bringing back. Since 2017 we’ve been restoring the house ourselves, step by step, with great care creating a place that guides like a lighthouse and welcomes like a harbor. A special highlight is what’s likely Germany’s smallest bedroom: a tiny entry, its own window, shimmering walls, and a snug bed. Children love it and many “grown-up kids” choose it as their favorite retreat. The main room blends sleeping and living with a sofa (sofabed), dining table, and TV. A compact kitchenette is equipped for longer stays, and the bathroom is small, straightforward, and easy to use. Despite the nearby motorway, the atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy nature. On the roughly 20,000 m² grounds you can let your thoughts wander; with a bit of luck you’ll spot cats, chickens, deer and, if you’re very lucky, even owls. Our dog is friendly and generally doesn’t roam alone. We’re warm, discreet hosts, easy to reach and solution-oriented.
